Location: 28 km/17 Miles NE of the City centre.
By Taxi: Metered taxis are available at the airport, and insist that the meter is used
as over-charging is common. ~CNY 135/30-40 mins to the centre. Other
destinations are charged at ~CNY 2 per km. Airport taxis are often much more
expensive than regular taxis in Beijing. It can be worthwile getting the bus to
any part of the city and then taking a regular taxi to your final destination,
to avoid being overcharged. Taxi touts wait in the terminal, just after customs,
and their sole purpose is to rip you off. There are 2 official taxi lines just
outside arrivals. Taxi drivers do not expect to be tipped.

| Airline operated buses run to various parts of the city on 5 routes. Buy your ticket from the counter inside the terminal. Buses take ~45 mins to get to the center. | |
| Airport Bus #1 to Fangzhuang: | Route: Capital Airport - Liangmaqiao - Hujialou - Dabeiyao (World Trade Centre) - Panjiayuan - Shilihe (King Wing Hot Spring Intl Hotel) - Fangzhuang (Guiyou Shopping Mall). Timings: Buses leave the airport every 30 mins or better 0700-2230. Buses leave Fangzhuang every 30 mins or better 0600-1930. Cost: CNY 16. |

Timings: Buses leave the airport daily every 10 mins 0700-2300. Buses leave Gongzhufen daily every 10 mins 0540-2100. Cost: CNY 16. |
