Anglesey Airport - Maes Awyr Môn (HLY):

Location: 4 km/2.5 miles SW of Valley & 5 km/3.5 Miles SE of Holyhead, on an island to the West of Anglesey. 33 km/22 Miles WNW of Bangor & 22 km/14 Miles WNW of Llangefni.
By Road: Leave the A55 at junction 4 and follow signs for RAF Valley, through the village of Llanfihangel yn Nhowyn. You will pass over a small bridge that crosses a railway. Take the next left and continue ahead to the terminal.

By Bus:
General: Buses runs to and from Holyhead, Llangfeni & Bangor in accordance with the flight schedules.
To Holyhead: A bus runs to and from Holyhead in accordance with the flight schedules. Timings: Buses leave the airport Mon-Fri at 0903, 1635 & 1734 (Mon-Thur only). Buses leave Holyhead at 0750, 1540, 1550 & 1635. Travel Times: To Holyhead 20-25 mins.
To Llangefni & Bangor: Another bus runs to Llangefni & Bangor. These buses leave the airport at 0917, 1655 & 1802. Buses leave Bangor at 0730, 1500 & 1600. Buses leave Llangefni at 0803, 1538 & 1600. Travel Times: To Llangefni 25 mins and Bangor 55 mins.

By Train: The nearest train station is at Valley, however, the station at Holyhead has an hourly rail service as opposed to the two-hourly service at Valley.
Notes: This airport is part of the Military airbase: RAF Valley, and is sometimes known as Holyhead airport.

Airport Bus X91 to Cardiff City Centre: The Airbus X91 airport service, supplemented by bus 95, operates between Cardiff's city centre and the airport.
Route: Llantwit Major Bus Station - Boverton - Eglwys Brewis - St. Athan RAF Airbase - St Athan Village - Aberthaw - Rhoose - Airport - Weycock Cross - Port Road West - Fire Station - Port Road East - Port Road - Pencoedtre Cross - St Andrew's Cross - Station Rd - Ruhr Cross - Cardiff Central Station.
Timings: Buses leave the airport heading for Cardiff Mon-Fri every 30-65 mins 0716-2025. Saturdays every 60-90 mins 0725-2025. On Sundays leave the airport at 0905, 1040, 1240, 1440, 1640, 1840 & 2025. Buses leave Cardiff Central Station heading for the airport Mon-Fri every 30-65 mins 0510-1820. Saturdays every 60-90 mins 0510-1820. On Sundays leave the airport at 0830, 1002, 1202, 1402, 1602, 1802 & 1915. On Sundays buses do not run beyond the airport. Travel Times: To Cardiff city centre ~30 mins. Cost: £3.70 one way.
Airport Bus 95 to Cardiff City Centre: Timings: Buses leave the airport only at 0550 Mon-Sat. Cost: £3.70 one way.

Buses leave Cardiff Central Station heading for the airport at 0855, 1005, 1235, then every 2 hrs until 2035 & 2250. Travel Times: To Cardiff city centre ~40 mins. Cost: £3.70 one way.

By Train: A newly-opened rail link connects the Airport to Cardiff Central in one direction and to Bridgend in the other. Trains run each direction every hour, with onward connections possible all over the UK. Trains take 30 mins to reach cardiff Central. They run Mon-Sat 0630-2320, and much less frequently on Sundays ~0900-2100. Note: There is a shuttle bus service (free to passengers with a valid train ticket) which meets all trains to carry passengers on the short journey to the airport terminal. The bus leaves 10 minutes to the hour.

Location: 3 km/2 Miles ESE of Hawarden, 6 km/4 Miles WSW of Chester (England) & 15 km/9 Miles N of Wrexham. The airport itself is in Wales.
