Providenciales Intl/Provo (PLS):
Location: 2 km/1 Mile W of Providenciales town.
By Taxi: To Leeward US$23. Gus Taxi & Tour Services Tel 649 241 6040 or 231 4803, Provo Taxi Tel 946 5481 & Outten's Taxi Tel 241 4098.
By Limo: VIP Luxury Transportation Tel 649 231 4281.
By Bus: The Gecko Bus does not call at the airport, but the closest stop is at Central square, a mile/2km or so from the airport. It runs along Turtle Cove & Grace Bay calling at most hotels. It costs US$4 per ride or a day pass is US$11 for adults, children half price. No cash, tickets must be bought in advance from hotels, shops or restaurants. It runs Sun-Wed 1000-2230 and Thur-Sat 1000-0100 every 30 mins.
Rental Cars: AVIS (649) 946 4705, Budget 946 4079 & HERTZ have desks in the terminal. National is located 2 mins from the airport. A government tax of 10% is levied on car rentals, and US$5 on scooters.
