Hat Yai Intl/Songkhla (HDY):
Location: 12 km/8 Miles SW of Hat Yai.
By Taxi: There are 4 limousine service counters in the passenger hall.
Rental Cars: Companies include AVIS.

Koh Samui (USM):
Location: The airport is in the NE part of the island between Bophut Beach and Chaweng Beach.
By Taxi: There are many private taxi services (pickups) waiting for arriving passengers. Ask for the price before entering any taxi - and haggle.
By Bus: Travellers arriving at the Airport should use the pick-up service of their hotel (if provided). According to some reports: Avoid using the airport limousine service!! The drivers sometimes tell you that your booked hotel is closed/flooded/non-existent or too expensive and try to take you to a hotel where they get commission, or just drop you off somewhere if you do not agree to their demands.
Rental Cars: Several companies are at the airport.
Airport Tax: 400 Baht payable by all in cash.

Krabi (KBV):
Location: 10 km/6 Miles NE of Krabi Town, 70 km/44 Miles ENE of Phuket town (but much further by road).

Location: 21 km/13 miles W of Surat Thani. 105 km/66 miles SW of Koh Samui Island.
Rental Cars: Several companies are at the airport.
To Koh Samui Island: Combined AirCon coach/ferry transfer takes about 3 hrs.

U-Tapao Pattaya Intl (UTP):
Location: 32 km/20 Miles SSE of Pattaya.
By Taxi: To Pattaya ~THB 300, ~25 mins.
Money Services: Bureau de Change/Currency Exchange available at the terminal.
Note: This airport is sometimes calkled Rayong Airport.
