Location: 10 km/6½ Miles SE of the City.
By Taxi: To the city center ~SYP 400/20 mins. It is advisable to negotiate fares beforehand if there is no taxi meter in the cab.
By Bus: A bus runs from the airport terminal to the International bus station on Al Maari St.
Airport Tax: Departure tax SYP 200. Children under 10 are exempt.

Damascus (DAM):
Location: 29 km/18 Miles SE of the City.
By Taxi: ~SYP 500/US$15 to the city centre. Takes ~30 mins. It is advisable to negotiate fares beforehand if there is no meter in the taxi. Fares double after midnight. There are taxi desks in the terminal as you exit arrivals.
By Bus: A bus service leaves the airport ~every 30 mins 0600-2000, and then hourly until midnight. It runs to Baramkeh in the city centre. The airport bus stop is on the right side of the entrance to arrivals. Cost: SYP 100/40 mins.
Rental Cars: Several companies are at the airport, including EUROPCAR.
Airport Tax: Departure: SYP 200 for Intl flights. Children under 10 and transits are exempt.

Latakia (LTK):
Location: 25 km/16 Miles SE of the City.
By Taxi: It is advisable to negotiate fares beforehand if there is no taxi meter in the cab.
Airport Tax: Departure: SYP 200. Children under 10 are exempt.
Notes: This airport is used mainly for charter flights.
