Kota Kinabalu Intl (BKI):
Location: 5 km/3 Miles SW of the city center.
Airport Overview: There are 2 terminals, quite far from each other and not and the same route. Terminal 1: Malaysia Airlines & Royal Brunei Airlines. Terminal 2: Low cost airlines, mostly Air Asia but also Tiger Airways.
By Taxi: Pre paid taxi coupons are available in the terminal for trips to the city. Average cost to the city is MYR 20. Expect to pay a little less for the trip back to the airport. takes ~15 mins. Note: Fares increase after midnight.

| Minibus service: | Minibuses run regularly from the airport to the bus stop at Wawasan Plaza. Cost: ~MYR 2 per person. |
| Local Buses: | Local Buses #17 & #19 do not call at the terminal, but run past the airport entrance every hour or so. Cost: To the city MYR 1. |
| From Terminal 2: | To get to the city by bus from T2: on the right when you go out, take bus 16A. The terminus is Wawasan Plaza |

Kuching Intl (KCH):
Location: 8 km/5 Miles SSW of Kuching.
By Taxi: Pre paid taxi coupons are available from the desk outside arrivals, for trips to the city and beyond. Average cost to Kuching city is MYR 26, Damai MYR 60 & UNIMAS is MYR 40. Expect to pay a little less for the trip back to the airport. Note: Fares increase after midnight by 50%.

| Bus from Tune Hotel: | From the Tune hotel in Kuching city, you can get a mini bus (MYR 8 for Tune Hotel guests, MYR 10 for others)to the airport. Buses run every hour 0830 until the evening. Bookings should be made at least one day in advance. |
| Other Buses: | There are several other buses which stop ~1 km/½ mile west of the Airport terminal. Turn left as you exit the airport and walk to the main T junction, turn left again and walk until you reach the big roundabout and catch a bus heading north to Kuching. Buses that stop here include: 3A, 6, 8G and 9. The most convenient place to catch these buses back to the airport junction is at the main bus terminal in the city. |
Rental Cars: AMI Car Rental, Golden System Car Rental, HERTZ, Hornbill Car Rental, Wah Tung & Cat City Car Rental have desks on the ground floor, outside arrivals.

Labuan (LBU):
Location: On the E coast of Labuan island, 4 km/2 Miles NNE of Labuan Town.
By Taxi: To Labuan Town ~MYR 20.

Limbang (LMN):
Location: 6 km/4 Miles N of the town centre but only 16 km/10 Miles SSE of Bandar Seri Begawan in Brunei.
By Taxi: To town ~MYR 5 per person.

Miri (MYY):
Location: 8 km/5 Miles S of the city centre.
By Taxi: Pre paid taxi coupons are available in the terminal for trips to the city. Average cost to Miri is MYR 20.

Sandakan (SDK):
Location: 9 km/6 Miles NW of the city centre.
By Taxi: Pre paid taxi coupons are available in the terminal for trips to the city. Average cost to Miri is MYR 18. Expect to pay a little less for the trip back to the airport. Note: Fares increase after midnight.
By Bus: Batu Bus #7 does not stop at the terminal, but on the main road just outside the airport, and only a short walk. It runs to Centre Point in the city for ~MYR 2.

Sibu (SBW):
Location: 18 km/11 Miles E of the city.
By Road: To Sibu 23 km/14 Miles.
By Taxi: Pre paid taxi coupons are available in the terminal for trips to the city. Average cost to Sibu city is MYR 30.
By Bus: Local Bus #3A runs between the airport and the city every 90 mins or so 0600-1800. Cost: MYR 3/25-30 mins.

Tawau (TWU):
Location: 28 km/17 Miles ENE of the city centre.
By Taxi: To Town MYR 35-40.
By Bus: A shuttle bus runs to the bus station in Tawau, but is fairly infrequent, only running 7 times a day. Timings: Airport - Tawau town: 0715, 0915, 1050, 1215, 1430, 1550 & 1850. Tawau town - Airport: 0530, 0800, 0830, 1030, 1300, 1430 & 1700. Cost MYR 5/Takes 20 mins.
