Airport Overview: A small single terminal with arrivals on the lower level and departures on the upper. Bus stops are on the lower street.

Taxi Meters: Taxis in Macau generally use meters. There is a MOP 5 surcharge for airport trips and MOP 3 for luggage in the trunk of the taxi. MOP 1 is charged for each 50 seconds waiting time. For journeys between Taipa and Coloane Islands, a surcharge of MOP 2 is payable. For journeys between Macau and Coloane Islands, a surcharge of MOP 2 is payable. Fares are calculated at MOP 13 for the first 1600m, then MOP 1.50 for each extra 230m. Taxis generally accept Hong Kong dollars on a 1:1 basis for macau Patacas.

TCM Bus 21 to Coloane: Route: Runs from A-Ma Temple to Coloane via the airport. Route Details: P. Ponte Horta - A-Ma Temple - Macau Tower - Ocean Garden - Jockey Club - Airport - Coloane - Karting Track - Seak Pai Van Park (Statue of A-Ma) - Coloane Village.
Timings: Runs every hour or so 0630-2310.

Express Link Bus Service to Ferry Terminal: There is a bus that runs directly from the boarding jettys at Macau ferry terminal to Macau airport. After arriving by ferry at the ferry terminal, there is no need to pass through immigration to Macau at all. Follow signs for the Express Link Bus to the airport. The bus can only be used by passengers departing by air from Macau in the next few hours. Timings: Buses leave the ferry terminal daily at 1100, 1515, 1700 & 1830. Buses leave Macau Airport daily at 1200, 1300, 1500, 1730, 1800 & 2000.
Golden Crown China Hotel Shuttle Bus: A shuttle bus runs from the Golden Crown China Hotel, opposite the terminal to the macau Ferry Terminal. Timings: Buses leave the hotel daily every 30 mins 0915-2315. Buses leave the ferry terminal daily every 30 mins 0940-2340.
By Bus to Mainland China: Buses to China run regularly 0900-2100. Destinations include Gongbei, Zhuhai, Guangzhou, Zhongshan & Dongguan.

By Minibus:
General: Minibuses on the lower/arrivals level. They do not stop along their route unless flagged down,a nd have a maximum capacity of about 16. Once full they cannot pick up further passengers. To get off, call 'Yow Lok' and the driver will stop.

By Ferry: The Macau Ferry Terminal is about a 10-min drive from the Airport. See ferry section for Macau Heliport Below.

Car Parking: There are 2 large car parks either end of the passenger terminal, called the North and South car parks. Both are free of charge.
Notes: ATMs/Cash machines and a hotel booking desk are available on the arrivals level.
Baggage Storage: Left luggage facilities are available on the upper level. Cost: MOP 20 per item per 24 hrs.
Airport Tax: From December 2004, MOP 90 is included in the ticket cost for all passengers over 2 years old.
Airport Hotels: The Golden Crown China Hotel, Tel +853 2885 1166, is opposite the terminal and runs a shuttle bus to the ferry terminal (see bus section above).

Macau Heliport:

Location: On the 2nd floor of the ferry terminal in Macau, 0.5 Miles/0.8 km E of the city centre.


By Helicopter:
General: Regular helicopter services run between Macau Heliport and the Shun Tak Centre (Hong Kong Island) and Shenzhen airport. Flights are operated by HeliExpress. Contact: Tel Hong Kong +852 2108 9898, Macau +853 2872 7288 & Shenzhen +86 755 2777 8333.
To Hong Kong: Timings: The service runs every 30-60 mins 0930-2259. Transfer time to Hong Kong ~16 mins.
Cost: One way HKD/MOP 1900.
To Shenzhen: Timings: 5 flights per day. Transfer to Shenzhen in 15 mins.
Cost: HKD/MOP 1990 (day flights), HKD/MOP 2200 (night flight).

By Bus:
General: The Macau Ferry Terminal is part of the heliport. There are 150 departures to Hong Kong every day on a variety of high-speed vessels. The journey takes about 55 mins. Tickets can be bought at the Airport or at the ferry terminal. Reservations for tickets are advisable during weekends and public holidays.
Cost: To Hong Kong MOP/HKD 138-176 one way. To Shenzhen Airport (Fu Yong Ferry Terminal) MOP/HKD 171 one way.
