Airport Overview: One large terminal building divided into 3 piers A, B & C. All the piers can be accessed from inside the one building. Buses depart from the ground level, and local trains from the basement level. Inter city trains from the nearby train station, linked by a shuttle bus.

| Sky Train Shuttle Bus #821: | A monorail connects the terminals and the nearby inter-city train station. Takes 5 mins to get to the train station. |

| General: | Confusingly, there are 2 train stations at or near the airport. The Airport Terminal station (on the basement level of terminals ABC), from which the S-Bahn services run locally into the city, and the Airport Station (further away) served by long distance trains. The two are linked by the SkyTrain. |
| S-Bahn Line S-7 to Dusseldorf: | This train runs from the Airport Terminal station and has local trains that run into Dusseldorf city. The train station is well signed from the terminal. Route: Airport Terminal Station - Dusseldorf Unterrath - Dusseldorf Derendorf - Dusseldorf HBF/Central Train station (12 mins). Timings: Frequent trains run throughout the day. Cost: €2.50 to Dusseldorf HBF. |

Car Parking: There are an enormous number of car parks at the airport. Car park 3 is right opposite the terminals: 15 mins free, 1 hour €2.50, 1 day €18.
Baggage Storage: The left luggage area is outside the terminal near the entrance to car park 3. Exit the terminal on the arrivals/lower level and cross the road, The office is in a separate building. For bags up to 30kg €2.50 per day, 30-60 kg €3 per day, over 60kg €5 per day. Bicycles €7 per day. Opening hours 0400-2400.

By Train: There are regular shuttle buses to the nearest train stations at Weeze, Kevelaer & Goch. Buses also run to the train stations at Dusseldorf, Essen, Cologne/Köln & Arnhem (Netherlands). These stations are further away, but are main stations and serve more destinations. For timings see the airport website.
Car Parking: Spaces are available outside the terminal. Rates: P1 (Short Stay): €1.50 per hour €10 per day. Maximum charge €50. P2 (Long Stay): €1.50 per hour €6 per day. Maximum charge €30.
