Bagdogra (IXB): Location: 3 km/2 Miles from the town of Baghdogra, 38 km/24 Miles S of Darjeeling/Darjiling, 12 km/7 miles W of Siliguri & 77 km/48 Miles SSW of Gangtok in Sikkim. By Road: 90 km/56 Miles/4 hrs to Gangtok in Sikkim, 16 km/10 Miles to Siliguri & 124 km/78 Miles to Darjeeling. By Taxi: Private Taxi to Darjeeling ~INR 700-850. Calcutta/Kolkata - Dum Dum (CCU): Location: 17 km/11 miles NE of the City Centre. By Taxi: To the city centre: Pre-paid taxis from the booth inside the terminals ~INR 135-200/40-120 mins depending on traffic. Regular taxis ~INR 200. By Bus: ◊There is a 24 hour coach service to the Indian Airlines city office & to major hotels. ◊A bus also runs to the city every 10 mins 0530-2200. ◊Public bus#S10 runs from BBD Bagh to the airport for INR 8. ◊Bus#L33 goes from the Esplanade bus station also for INR 8.
