Bus #6 to Treviso Station: Public bus#6 to Treviso Station. Timings: every 20 mins. Journey Time: 20 mins. Cost: €1 if bought at the airport prior to boarding the bus, or €2 from the driver. General: Taxis wait at the Ground Transportation area at the extreme ends of the baggage claim areas on the lower level of each side of the terminal. A Taxi Despatcher desk is there. In case there are no taxis or despatcher present, there is a courtesy phone to summon a taxi.

General: ATVO is the local bus company. Buses stop on the arrivals level. Exit the terminal and cross the first roadway. Bus stops are along the full length of the terminal. There is a bus ticket machine in the baggage hall. Getting tickets here can save time later.
ATVO Bus to Venice city: Route: Airport (bus stop 1) to Piazzale Roma in Venice city centre. Piazzale Roma is a major terminus for many water buses which then go to various places on the lagoon, and is also the 'motor' bus station serving locations on the perimeter of the lagoon and beyond. This is a fast bus taking only 20-30 mins. Timings: Buses leave the airport daily every 30-40 mins 0820-0020. Cost: €6 one way, €11 round trip.

SITA Bus to Padova & Montegrotto: Route: Airport - Venezia/Venice - Padova - Abano - Montegrotto. Timings: Buses leave the airport Mon-Fri every 30-60 mins 0635-2235 & 0010. Weekends & Holidays every hour 0635-2235 & 0010.
Bus to Treviso: A bus runs to Treviso for €5.
By Boat:
General: There uis a boat ticket machine in the baggage hall. It is a 5-10 minute walk from the terminal to the jetty. Just follow the signs - out of the terminal and turn left. There is a small waiting room/cafe there, where all the following boats can be found:
Alilaguna boats to Venice: Routes: Alilaguna run water buses on 3 slightly different routes from the airport to the City of Venice, but most serve St. Marks Square (San Marco) and the Lido. They call at different stops on the way which can be a bit confusing!
Blue Line/Linea Blu: Route: Airport - Murano (Colonna) - Fte Nove - Ospedale (Hospital) - Bacini - Lido - S Zaccaria - San Marco/St Mark's Square - Zattere - Molino Stucky. Timings: Boats leave the airport daily at 0610, 0710, 0810, 0845, then every hour until 1845, 1910, then every hour until 0010.
Red Line/Linea Rossa: Route: Airport - Murano (Museo, 25-30 mins) - Lido, Pz S M Elisabetta (45 mins) - Arsenale (60 mins) - San Zaccaria (70 mins) - San Marco/St Mark's Square (75 mins) - Zattere - Molino Stucky - Tronchetto. Timings: Boats leave the airport daily at 0915, then every hour until 1815.
Orange Line/Linea Arancio: Route: Airport - Fte Nove - Madonna Dell'Orto - Guglie (Railway) - Rialto - San Angelo. Timings: Boats leave the airport daily at 0900, then every hour until 1800, 1940, then every hour until 2340.
Cost: To Lido & Venice city €13 one-way. €25 return. To Murano €6.50 one way. Molino Stucky & Tronchetto €15 one way. Cash only, no cards (despite credit card logos plainly displayed!). Travel Time: To St Marks, takes about 60-75 mins.
To buy tickets for this water bus, 1: There is a ticket machine in the baggage claim area. Getting tickets here can save time later. 2: Exit the arrivals hall from baggage reclaim and turn left and immediately there are some ticket kiosks. One is marked Water Bus Express. Buy your ticket here - specify your destination. There are frequently long lines/queues at these desks. 3: Buy tickets at the ferry pier. Tickets will be checked on the boat! Beware: This is also a Water Taxi terminal. These are VERY expensive but will take you anywhere of course. Hint: for €35 you can buy an ACTV 'rover' ticket which lasts for 72 hrs and for the tourist is very convenient and economical. Single 'water bus' journeys are €3.50 but do NOT include the Grand Canal.
Cooperativa San Marco: Offers boat service throughout the day, 0445-2050 to and from Piazza San Marco. Cost: €8.50. Travel Time: Takes ~1 hour. Contact: Tel +39 041 5222303 or 5235775.
Private Water Taxi: Private speedboats run to St Marks Square or Venice Hotels. There are ticket desks in the arrivals area. Cost: ~€95 for up to 4 passengers. Contact: Venezia Taxi Tel +39 (0)41 723 112. Motoscafi Tel 041 5222303. Note: These are VERY expensive but will take you anywhere, of course.

Notes: This is the main and nearest airport to Venice, but some airlines use Treviso airport further away, calling it Venice (Treviso). There is a hotel reservations desk in arrivals. There is a post office next to the bank on the ground floor. Exit customs and turn right. Baggage carts/trolleys available for rent at €1.
