Location: 5 km/3 Miles NNE
of Comox & 8½ km/5½ Miles ENE of Courtenay.
By Taxi: United Cabs (250)
339-7955.
By Bus: Local buses operated by BC Transit, run throughout the Valley.
Bus #11 stops across from the airport and runs to Anderton/Ryan & Cliffe/4th in Courtenay. However there are only 5 services per day.
Laidlaw Coach Lines (250)334-2475 run South to Victoria & Nanaimo or
North to Campbell River & Port Hardy.

Route: Victoria (Hostelling Intl, 516 Yates St) - Victoria (Ocean
island Backpackers, 791 Pandora St) - Nanaimo Airport - Nanaimo (Waterfront
Pioneer Plaza) - Port Alberni - Tofino Bus Depot. Timings: Buses leave
the airport heading towards Tofino daily at 0950, and at 1405 (01March-31Oct
only). Buses leave Tofino Bus Depot daiy at 1100 & 1515 (01March-31Oct only). To
Tofino 4 hrs 5 mins.

Van Service: The
AKAL Airport Shuttle Bus costs CAD$18
one-way to the downtown area or $25 outside of downtown. All downtown hotels are
covered. Discounts are available for children and for groups. Runs every half hour and
