Montevideo - Carrasco Intl (MVD): Location: 15 km/10 Miles ENE of the City. By Taxi: Taxis stop opposite the arrivals level and charge ~US$20-25/20-30 mins to the city centre. Drivers accept Pesos or US Dollars. Try to agree a price beforehand if possible.

| Public Bus: | The slow public bus stops at the airport ~every 15 mins. Tickets should be bought on the bus and cost $Urug14/US$1, however the driver can only accept Uruguayan Pesos. Transfer to the city centre can take up to 1 hour depending on traffic, and the number of stops made. |
| COT & COPSA Bus: | A faster bus operated by COT & COPSA runs ~every 30 mins but is more expensive at $Urug30/US$2.50. Tickets can be bought in the COT & COPSA offices in the arrivals hall, where timetables are also available. The bus runs to the Tres Cruces bus station in the city centre. |
| Pluna Bus: | Pluna and Varig passengers are entitled to a free transfer to the Radisson Montevideo Hotel on Calle Colonia (at the corner with Florida. Just present your boarding card to the driver. See the Varig or Pluna offices in the arrivals level for more information. |
| Courtesy Buses: | Free courtesy bus to the Hotel Victoria Plaza Downtown. |
