By Bus: Bus #1 runs to the railway station in the city.

Kyiv/Kiev/Київ
- Boryspil/Бориспіль (KBP):
Location: 29 km/18 Miles
ESE of Kyiv City, 4 km/2 Miles W of Borispol Town.
Airport
Overview:
3 terminals, all within a few minutes walk of each other. Terminal A to the East
is for domestic flights only. Terminal B is the central terminal used for
interntional flights. Terminal C is to the West and seems to be for private
flights only.
By Taxi:
General:
As
you pass into the arrivals hall you will be approached by numerous taxi touts. Try to resist these and proceed outside and negotiate
with the drivers there. You should not pay more than US$30-35, and with some effort you may get US$25.
If you exit the terminal and turn right, you will see a taxi dispatcher building, where you can obtain a fair priced taxi.
Taxi desks are also in the arrivals area of Terminal B.
Approx Costs:
To the City centre: ~UAH 100/25-40 mins.
Make sure you agree a price beforehand.

By Bus:
Polit Buses to
the City:
Regular buses
and minibuses are operated by Polit (Політ) from a bus
stop just in front of arrivals.
Route: Airport
(in front of terminal B) - Charkivska Metro
Station (Харківська) - Train station
(Βокзал).
Timings: Buses
leave the airport daily at 0010, 0040, 0140, 0235, 0400, 0445, 0515,
0530, 0550, 0620, 0645, 0710, 0730, 0755, 0815, 0835, 0855, 0925, 0945,
1005, 1025, 1045, 1100, 1120, 1140, 1200, 1215, 1245, 1300, 1320, 1335,
1400, 1425, 1440, 1500, 1520, 1540, 1600, 1620, 1645, 1700, 1725, 1750,
1815, 1850, 1930, 2000, 2030, 2120, 2155, 2245 & 2335. Buses leave
the rain station in the city daily at 0035, 0100, 0130, 0230, 0340,
0445, 0540, 0600, 0630, 0700, 0720, 0755, 0810, 0840, 0915, 0935, 0955,
1015, 1035, 1050, 1115, 1130, 1150, 1210, 1230, 1250, 1310, 1330, 1350,
1405, 1430, 1445, 1505, 1525, 1545, 1615, 1630, 1650, 1710, 1735, 1800,
1820, 1840, 1900, 1920, 2000, 2030, 2100, 2130, 2220, 2250 & 2335. Takes
40-60 mins.

Buses leave the airport
on work days at 0735, 0800, 0840, 0900, 0945, 1005, 1050, 1110, 1230,
1250, 1325, 1355, 1430, 1555, 1625, 1705, 1730, 1805, 1910 & 2000.
Non-work days at 0735, 0755 (minibus only), 0800, 0840, 0900, 0915
(minibus only), 0945, 1050, 1220, 1325, 1430, 1625, 1730, 1805, 1835,
1910 & 2000.

Long distance buses:
Gunsel operate
long distance coaches to various cities in Ukraine from the airport.
Most coaches begin in the city, before calling at the airport to pick up
pasengers:
Kremenchuk/Кременчук
(UAH 40/3 hrs 30) & Dnipropetrovsk/Дніпропетровськ (UAH 70/7 hrs 30):
Depart the airport at 0835, 1130, 1525 & 2225.
Piryatin/Пирятин (2
hrs), Romny/Ромни 4 hrs & Sumy/Суми (UAH 50/5:45). Depart the airport at
0750 & 1710.
Poltava/Полтава (UAH
50/5hrs 15) & Donets'k/Донецьк (UAH 100/10:35). Depart the airport at
0835 & 2030.
Poltava/Полтава (UAH
50/5hrs 15) & Kharkiv/Харків (UAH 70/7 hrs). Depart the airport at 0830
& 2315.
Bus #709:
Kirovograd/Кіровоград (5 hrs), Mikolaiv/Миколаїв (8 hrs 50), Kherson/Херсон (UAH
80/10 hrs 10), Simferopol/Сімферополь (UAH 130/15 hrs),
Alushta/Алушта (16 hrs) & Yalta/Ялта (UAH
150/17 hrs). Departs the airport at 1405 daily. The return service
(Bus #710) departs Yalta daily at 1915 arriving at the airport at
1255 next day.
Zaporizhzhia/Запоріжжя
(UAH 80/9 hrs 20), Simferopol/Сімферополь (UAH 130/16 hrs) &
Feodosiya/Феодосія (UAH 150/17 hrs). Departs the airport at 1530.

Airport to Airport:
Buses are
reported to run to Kiev Zhuliany airport as follows:
To Zhulyany airport: 0700, 0815, 1050, 1125, 1440, 1625, 1720, 1935 & 1955.
From Zhulyany airport: 0915, 1010, 1200, 1305, 1240, 1555, 1835, 2045 & 2130.
However when I tried to use one of these buses in Aug05, I was unable to find them, and was told I would have to
take a bus to Kyiv City Centre (Railway Station) and then change to another bus to Zhuliany Airport.
Airport Hotel:
Boryspil International Airport Hotel is within walking distance from the
terminals.
Steve's Tip: The Polit Buses that run to
the train station are quick, frequent, reliable and good value.

Kyiv - Zhuliany/Жуляни (IEV):
Location:
7 km/4 Miles SW of the city centre.
Airport Overview: An extremely small,
basic airport building with a bus stop outside.
By Taxi: To the city
centre ~UAH 30/20-40 mins.

| At the front of the terminal is a bus/trolleybus stop. There is a small kiosk where you can buy tickets, however on many buses you can also pay the driver. | |
| Trolleybus #9 to the Railway Station: | Route: Many stops on the way to the railway station (Βокзал). Timings: Runs from 0635-1850. Between 0635 & 1000 every 15-18 mins. Between 1000 & 1600 every 18-30 mins. Between 1600 & 1850 every 17-27 mins. Takes 25 mins to the station. Cost: UAH 0.50. |
| Trolleybus #22 to Blvd Olzhicha: | Route: Many stops on the way to Blvd Olzhicha (Бул Ольжича). Timings: Runs from 0604-2135. Between 0604 & 1000 every 10-22 mins. Between 1000 & 1600 every 12-18 mins. Between 1600 & 2000 every 10-13 mins. Between 2000 & 2135 every 10-27 mins. Cost: UAH 1.25. |

(LWO):
Location: 6 km/4 Miles WSW of the city centre.
By Bus: Trolleybus #9
runs into the city at regular intervals.
Notes: ATM's reported to be available. Left luggage available.

Odesa/Одеса (ODS):
Location: 9 km/6 Miles SW of Central Odessa.
By Bus: Bus #129 runs to the rail station in the city. The train station is a 20 minute walk from the city centre.
Buses #137 & #146 pass the train station en route to Ploscha Hretska in the centre.
Note: Many travellers report this to be a
very difficult airport to travel through, with few signs and unhelpful staff.
