Tucson Intl (TUS):
Location: 
15 km/9 Miles S of the city center.
Airport Overview: A single terminal with arrivals on the ground level and departures upstairs. Car parking and buses depart from the front. The car rental cener is a short walk away.


By Taxi:
General: Taxis wait across the road on the lower level in front of the terminal.
Cost: Rates are $4.50 flag drop, $2.25 per mile, and $22 per hour waiting time. There is no extra charge for baggage or more than one person going to the same location. Most taxis accept Visa & Mastercard. To downtown Tucson ~$26/20 mins.
Taxi Companies: Taxi service from the airport is provided by 4 companies. AAA Airport Taxi (520) 409-3155 or 299 8294, Allstate Cab 520-881-2227, Independent Cab 520-746-3592 & Yellow Cab (520) 623 7308 or 624 6611. Other companies that serve the airport include Discount Cabs (520) 388 9000 & Flash Cabs (520) 798 1111.

AAA Sedan: Has a desk in the baggage claim area, near carousel #5. They offer transport to and from the airport. Cost: To downtown Tucson $35, University of Arizona $35, University Marriott $35, DoubleTree Reid Park $35, Hotel Arizona $35, Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain $105, JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort $40, Westin La Paloma $55, Hilton El Conquistador $55, Loews Ventana Canyon $60, Westward Look $60 & Omni Tucson International $60. By Bus:
Sun Tran Buses: Tucson's public bus system, Sun Tran, provides service to and from the airport. The airport bus stop is on the lower level, at the opposite end of the terminal from the Rental Car Center. However, the easiest way to find the bus stop is to go to the upper level, exit the terminal, turn left and walk down the slope to the bus stop. Follow the signs for 'Sity Bus'. There are no schedules posted. Contact: Tel (520) 792-9222 for schedules.
Sun Tran Bus #6 to Tohono Transit Center: Route: Tucson Intl Airport - Valencia - Campbell - Park/Bilby - Irvington - Laos Transit Center - Park/Ajo - Park/22nd St - Broadway - Downtown Tucson (Ronstadt Center) - Euclid/6th St - 6th Ave - Ist Ave - 1st Ave/Ft Lowell - Wetmore/Stone - Tohono Transit Center.
Timings: Buses leave the airport Mon-Fri at 0435, 0500, then every ~30 mins until 1400, 1415, 1431, then every ~30 mins until 1628, 1713,  then every ~30 mins until 1950, then every hour until 2050. Saturdays every hour 0613-2014. Sundays every hour 0615-1915. For latest timings see here. Travel Time: To Downtown Tucson ~42 mins. To Tohono Transit Center ~70 mins. Cost: Adult $1.50. Child over 5 $0.50. Child under 5 free.
Sun Tran Bus #11 to Alvernon: Route: Tucson Intl Airport - Valencia - Butterfield Park - Palo Verde - Alvernon all the way to Ft Lowell - Dodge/River.
Timings: Buses leave the airport Mon-Fri every 30-40 mins 0607-1851. Saturdays every hour 0608-1908. Sundays every hour 0703-1903. For latest timings see here. Travel Time: To Butterfield Park ~15 mins. To River/Dodge ~47 mins. Cost: Adult $1.50. Child over 5 $0.50. Child under 5 free.
Tour & Hotel Buses: Tour buses and hotel shuttles wait on the ground level across the road from the terminal. Also here are Shared Ride Vans and parking shuttles.

By Shuttle Van:
Shuttlefare: On-line shuttle van reservations to and from this airport. Click here to make a reservation.
Arizona Stagecoach: Operates shared-ride van services to and from the airport. Service includes transport to hotels, resorts, the University of Arizona, and business or residence locations. The reservation desk is in the baggage claim area. Shuttles run from the Ground Transportation area on the ground level. Cross the road and follow the signs. Cost: To downtown Tucson $25 one way, $44 round trip. Contact: Tel (520) 889 1000.


Rental Cars:
On-Airport Rental Car Providers: ALAMO/National, AVIS, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise & HERTZ all have desks in the Rental Car Center, immediately adjacent to the main terminal. Follow the signs from baggage carousel #7.
Off-Airport Rental Car Providers: ADVANTAGE & Thrifty have off-airport locations, but can be contacted by a free phone outside the Rental Car Center.

Car Parking:
Garage Parking: Cost: $3 per hour. Daily max $9.
Daily Parking: Cost: $1 per 30 mins, $2 for 1 hour, then $1.50 per hour. Daily max $9.
Economy Parking: Located at S Tucson Blvd & Corona. Cost: $4 per hour uncovered, $5 per day covered.
Short Stay (Hourly): Hourly parking opposite the terminal. Cost: $1 per 30 mins. Daily max $12.
Park 'N Fly: Economy off-airport parking with shuttles running to and from the terminals. Located at 6627 S Tucson Blvd. Cost: From $2.95 per day. Contact: Tel (520) 746-3133.
QuickParkShuttle.com: QuickParkShuttle.com provide economy off-airport parking with shuttles running to and from the terminals. Cost: From $3.99 per day. Contact: Tel (520) 294-9000.
Cell Phone Parking: Cell phone parking lots, located close to airport terminals, are intended to reduce airport congestion. Motorists coming to the airport for arriving passengers can go to one of the cell phone parking lots. Once the arriving party reaches the terminal sidewalk with luggage in hand, he or she makes a call. The waiting motorist can be curbside within minutes to quickly pick up the traveler and be on their way. The Cell Phone Waiting lot at Tucson airport is on the right as you drive into the airport. Cost: Free.

Notes: Baggage Carts/Trollies available for rent at $4 each. $0.25 returned with cart. Free wi-fi internet available in the terminal. ATMs/Cash Machines are on the upper/departures level.
