Taipei 台北 - Taoyuan Intl 桃園國際機場 (TPE):
Location: 40 km/25 Miles SW of Taipei City. 13 km/8 Miles NW of Taoyuan. 40 km/25 Miles NE of Hsinchu.
Airport Overview: 2 large terminals at oppposite sides of a large car park. Terminal 1 is more basic and smaller than terminal 2. Terminal 3 is under construction. A free train (Skytrain) and a free bus (every 10-30 mins 0500-0100) are provided for transfer between the 2. The Skytrain takes 3 mins and runs every 2-8 mins 24 hrs a day, follow the signs. Each terminal has arrivals on the lower level and departures upstairs.
Airline Locations: Terminal 1: Air Macau, Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, Continental, Angkor Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Mandarin Airlines, Pacific Airlines, Philippine Airlines, Thai, Trans Asia Airways, Viet Air, Palau Trans Pacific, Korean & Jetstar Asia. Airport Museum: There is an aviation museum near Terminal 2 and connected by a free bus every hour from 0700.

By Train: There is no train station at the airport, however there is a metro system in the city called the MRT. Most of the buses running to the city connect to MRT stations. There are also long distance train stations in Taipei and Taoyuan city centres, which can be reached by bus or taxi. Fast trains run from Taipei train station to Kaohsiung in 80-90 mins.
Rental Cars: There are car rental desks in each terminal open 0500-0130.
Car Parking: Ground level car parks are on the East and West sides of Terminal 1. Cost: Large cars: TWD 60 for the first hour and TWD 40 for each extra 30 mins. Daily max TWD 980. Compact Cars: TWD 30 for the first hour and TWD 20 for each extra 30 mins. Daily max TWD 490. Open 24 hrs. Basement Car Parks: Car Parks B1 and B2 are on the basement level of each terminal. Kuo-Kuang Motor Transport Express Bus #62:	Runs to Sungshan domestic airport in Taipei city, with stops in the city centre. These coaches are air-conditioned and have plenty of luggage space. Route: Taoyuan Airport Intl - Hsingtein Temple - RongXing Park - ChungSan MRT Station - Sung Shan domestic Airport. Timings: Buses leave Taoyuan airport every 20 mins 0610-2400. Taipei 台北 - Sungshan 松山機場 (TSA):
Location: 5 km/3 Miles NE of central Taipei.
Airport Overview: 2 terminals, terminal 1 and 2, 50m apart, with bus stops outside terminal 1. Terminal 1 is where all the flights seem to arrive and depart. Ticketing and arrivals are downstairs, with departures upstairs. In July 2007 Terminal 2 was deserted.
By Taxi: Readily available outside the airport (exit and turn right). Taxi Dispatching Service 0800 055 850. Taxi service in English (02) 2799 4818. Taxi meters start at TWD 70, then TWD 5 for each extra 250m. To most parts of the city centre TWD 100-150/5-15 mins.

General:	There are a number of bus stops outside terminal 1. The public/city buses are out and turn left and cross the road. The bus stop for buses to Taoyuan Intl airport and long distance buses are out, turn right and cross the road.

By Train: The airport ist now connected to the city's Metro-system. The Stop "Sungshan Airport" is located directly underneath the terminal building, only a few steps away. The station is served by the brown line (Neihu-line). There is also a long distance train station in Taipei city centre, which can be reached by bus or taxi. Fast trains run from Taipei train station to Kaohsiung in 80-90 mins.

Car Parking: Car Parks 1, 2 & 3 are right in frnt of the terminal. Cost: First 30 mins free, TWD 40 per hour. There is a motorcycle parking lot opposite terminal 2. Cost: TWD 20 per day.
Baggage Storage: Lockers are available on the ground floor of terminal 1. Cost: TWD 40-80 per 12 hour period, depending on size. Max rental period 6 days (144 hours).
Notes: ATMs/Cash machines in Terminal 1. There is a post office on the grould floor of terminal 1. There is a gas/petrol station in front of the terminal. This airport is sometimes called just 'Taipei Airport'.
