Airport Overview: There are 5 small terminals at the airport, all conected together and within walking distance. Terminals 2 and 5 are for intl flights. Terminal 4 is for domestic flights. There is a train station underneath the terminals.
Airline Locations: Terminal 2: Finnair, Iberia, Fly Me (Intl), Norweigan & Swiss. Term 3: Skyways & other domestic flights. Term 4: Flynordic, FlyMe & SAS domestic flights. Term 5: SAS, British Airways & other international flights.

| Typical Taxi Fares: | To Stockholm city centre ~SEK 400/35-40 mins. To Uppsala ~SEK 415/25-35 mins. Taxi prices are set by zone between Stockholm city centre and Uppsala. Maps are posted near the taxi ranks with prices. The price posted applies for 1-4 passengers. For 5-8 passengers expect prices to be 40-50% higher. The maximum proice chargeable is SEK 445, and some taxi companies may charge less than the posted prices. |

| By Combined Bus & Taxi: | A set price for a combined airport bus and taxi trip is available. This involves the taxi picking you up and driving you to the nearest airport bus stop. For bookings to Arlanda telephone:+46 8-686 10 10. From Arlanda, this is arranged with the bus driver who will be able to have a taxi waiting for you at the City Terminal (or Haga Forum for locations in the north of Stockholm). It costs SEK 115 in addition to the bus fare. Call +46 8 686 10 10. For bus/taxi bookings using the Uppsala local bus network, call +46 18 15 15 15. |
| Notes from a Traveller December 2008: | There are 2 taxi lines when leaving international arrivals. One is for reputable companies which pay a fee to the airport. These companies have a maximum fee they can charge to Stockholm and will not rip you off. They include Taxi Stockholm, Taxi Kurir and Taxi 020. There is also a line where all other taxis have to try to pick up passengers (usually quite agressively). These cabs may try to rip you off by overcharging or skimming your credit card. Only go with one of the reputable taxi companies. Please note that there are companies trying to impersonate Taxi Stockholm by having a similar name such as Taxi i Stockholm. | Flygbussarna-Airport bus to Stockholm City: | Runs to the Cityterminalen at Klarabergsviadukten 72 in the city centre. Route: The airport buses stop at terminals 2, 4 & 5 (bus stop 11), then Järva krog (22 mins), Frösundavik (23 mins), Haga Norra (24 mins), Haga Forum (25 mins), Norra Statsionsgatan (27 mins), St Eriksplan (30 mins) & Stockholm City (cityterminalen 40 mins). Timings: From the airport: Mon-Fri: The first bus leaves the airport at 0450, then every 30 mins until 0620, 0645, 0700, 0710, then every 10 mins until 2230, then every 15 mins until 2300, 2330, 0000 & 0030. Sat & Sun: The first bus leaves the airport at 0450, then every 30 mins until 0715, then every 10 or 15 mins until 2300, then every 15-30 mins until 0030. To the Airport: Mon-Fri: The first bus leaves the cityterminalen at 0400, then every 15 mins until 0530, then every 10 or 15 mins until 2200. Sat & Sun: The first bus leaves the cityterminalen at 0400, then every 10 or 15 mins until 2200. Outside these times, extra buses will run in accordance with arriving flights. Cost: To the City Terminal: Adult one way SEK 110/40 mins (children upto 17 with parents, students & pensioners SEK 65). Adult return SEK 190. Cash payment not accepted on the bus. | Flygbussarna-Airport bus to Brommaplan: | Runs to the Flybussarna terminal in Brommaplan. Route: Airport (Bus stop 12) - Upplands Väsby - Oddegatan/IBM - Kista centrum - Ärvingevägen - Kolonnvägen - Solna Station - Solna centrum - Vireberg - Vreten - Voltavägen - Norrbyvägen - Brommaplan. Travel Time: ~50 mins. Timings: From the airport: Mon-Fri: 0750, 0850, 1100, 1200, 1440, 1730, 1950, 2050 & 2210. To the Airport: Mon-Fri: 0445, 0535, 0635, 0735, 1010, 1320, 1400, 1610 & 1850. This service runs Mon-Fri only. On weekends and at times between the above, take the Stockholm city bus and get off at Jarva Krog. Change here onto buses 176 or 177 to get to Brommaplan. Cost: To Brommaplan: Adult SEK 110 one way (children upto 17 with parents, students & pensioners SEK 65). SEK 190 return. Cash payment not accepted on the bus. Tickets can be bought from the machine next to bus stop 11 or from the kiosk close by. The machine accepts credit cards. |

| Inter-terminal Buses: | The free bus runs 0600-2300 and connects Terminals 2, 3 4, 5 (bus stop 10) & Sky City. Outside these times, a button is provide to summon a bus, which will take ~7 mins to arrive. |
| Parking Shuttle Bus ALFA: | The LFV Parkeringsbuss runs from bus stops 14 at the terminals to the long term car park A (Alfa). Timings: Buses run 8 times per hour 0500-0100 daily. Between 0100 and 0500 a button can be used to summon a bus which will arrive within 15 mins. Cost: Free. |
| Parking Shuttle Bus BETA: | The LFV Parkeringsbuss runs from bus stops 17 at the terminals to the long term car park B (Beta) 0500-0100 daily. |

| Arlanda Express to Central Stockholm: | Rapid Train to Stockholm Central railway station in the City Centre: Arlanda Express. There are two stations at the Airport: Arlanda South & Arlanda North. Use Arlanda South if your flight leaves from Terminals 2, 3 or 4. Use Arlanda North if your flight is from terminal 5. Timings: Mon-Fri: Trains leave the airport at 0505, 0535, then every 10-20 mins until 2305 then every 30 mins until 0035. Trains leave the city every at 0435, 0505, then every 10-20 mins until 2235, then every 30 mins until 0005. Weekends: Trains leave the airport at 0505, 0535, then every 15-20 mins until 2305, then every 30 mins until 0035. Trains leave the city at 0435, 0505, then every 15-20 mins until 2235, then every 30 mins until 0005. Travel Time: Takes ~20 mins to reach the city center. If the train is more than 2 mins late, you may claim in writing for the cost of a new journey. Cost: Adults (26 and older) SEK 200 one way, SEK 380 return. SEK 100 for child/youth age 8-25 and for seniors. Under 8 years old free. Return tickets available at reduced rates. Note: Tickets must be bought at the airport (from machines on the platform) or at the station otherwise a surcharge of SEK 50 applies to tickets bought on the train. A 50% discount applies for airport/airline staff on one-way tickets only. |
| Local Trains: | The Uppland public transport system (UL) runs the Upptåget commuter train between Upplands Våsby and Uppsala via Arlanda Airport. There is an onward connection from Uppsala to Gävle & Tierp. The Upptåget traindepart from Arlanda Central, directly underneath SkyCity. Timings: Trains run every 30 mins. |

| Via Märsta station: | Bus route number 583 connects with the commuter train at Märsta station. From here, trains run to Sollentuna, Stockholm city, Älvsjö & Södertälje. At peak times, trains run every 15 mins. |

| On-Airport Rental Car Providers: | AVIS +46 8-797 9970, EUROPCAR 593 609 40 & Hertz 797 9900 all have free phones in each terminal, but no desks. Free buses run from outside the terminals to the car rental center. NOTE: During peak times, the shuttle bus service runs between the terminals (stop 19) and the hire car companies according every 15 mins. During low times the shuttle bus can be requested by using the special telephones in the terminals. Budget & eSixT have shuttles that leave from outside the terminals, but no phones inside. Budget is located at the Quality hotel, 10 mins by free shuttle bus. |

Baggage Storage: A Left luggage facility is available in terminal 5, level 1, at Bagport. Open 0600-2200. Tel +46 8 797 62 28. Safety deposit lockers are also available in all terminals and at SkyCity. Cost SEK 30-50 per 24 hrs depending on size. Larger lockers are available for skis and golf clubs.

Stockholm - Skavsta/Nyköping (NYO):
Location: 95 km/59 miles SW of Stockholm. 6 km/4 miles NW of Nykoping.
By Bus: Flygbussarna-Airport buses to Cityterminalen in accordance with flight schedules. Cost: SEK 130/~80 mins. SEK 199 return. Buses also run several times a day to Norrköping (SEK 160) & Linköping (SEK 199).
Rental Cars: Several companies are at the airport.
