Singapore - Changi Intl (SIN):  Location: 19 km/12 Miles E NE of the City.  Airport Overview: There are 2 large main terminals (Terminal 1 & Terminal 2) and a smaller Budget Airlines Terminal. Terminals 1 and 2 are connected by a fast SkyTrain which operates 0600-0130 daily. A free shuttle bus runs from Terminal 2 basement level to the Budget Airlines Terminal.  Airline Locations: Terminal 2: Air New Zealand, Austrian, Lufthansa, Malaysia, Philippine Airlines, Royal Brunei, Silk Air & Singapore Airlines. Budget Airlines Terminal: Tiger Air & Cebu Pacific. Terminal 1: British Airways, QANTAS, Air China, Cathay, KLM, Finnair, Swiss, SAS & all other airlines. Terminals 1 and 2 are ultra-modern with many facilities. The Budget Terminal is very basic indeed.  Driving directions: The East Coast Parkway electronic toll road runs straight from the airport to Singapore City Centre.


By Taxi & Limo:
General: To the city center SGD$22-30 (+ S$3 or 5 Airport Surcharge depending on time of day)/25 mins. 50% higher after midnight until 6am. Limousine taxis charge S$35 to any destination in Singapore.

MaxiCab, Tel 6542 8297, offer a limo service in their 7 seater vans for S$35. From midnight to 0600, a $12 surcharge applies. MaxiCab has desks in all 3 terminal arrival areas (marked as Airport Shuttle).

By Bus:
Public buses and the free shuttle to the Budget Terminal depart from the basement levels of Terminal 1 & 2:
Bus#24 to Ang Mo Kio Interchange: Route: Terminal 2 Basement - Airport Blvd - PIE - Upper Changi Rd East - Changi Rd - Geylang Rd - Paya Lebar Rd - Boundary Rd - Lor Chuan - Ang Mo Kio Interchange. Timings: Runs daily every 3-14 mins 0623-0003. Cost: Up to SGD$2 cash fare depending on distance travelled. Exact fare needed, pay the driver. Note: Air-conditioned bus.
Bus#27 To Hougang Central Interchange: Route: Terminal 2 Basement - Airport Blvd - PIE - Tampines Ave 5, 4, 7, 9, 10 - Punggol Rd - Compassvale St - Sengkang East Ave - Sengkang Central - Hougang Central MRT ststion. Timings: Runs daily every 2-14 mins 0552-0025. Cost: Up to SGD$2 cash fare depending on distance travelled. Exact fare needed, pay the driver. Note: Air-conditioned bus.
Bus#34 To Punggol Interchange: Route: Terminal 2 Basement - Airport Blvd - PIE - Tampines Ave  7, 2, 5, 10 - TPE - Punggol Rd - Punggol Central - Punggol Place MRT station. Timings: Runs daily every 12-18 mins 0615-0030. Cost: Up to SGD$2 cash fare depending on distance travelled. Exact fare needed, pay the driver. Note: Air-conditioned bus.
Bus#36 to Orchard Rd (city centre): Route: Airport Terminal 2 Basement - Marine Parade Rd - Amber Rd - Mountbatten Rd - Temasek Blvd - Raffles Blvd (Pan Pacific Hotel) - Temasek Ave (opposite Ritz Carlton Hotel) - Raffles Ave (opposite Oriental Singapore Hotel) Stamford Rd - Orchard Rd (YMCA) - Penang Rd - Somerset Rd - Grange Rd - Orchard Blvd - Tomlinson Rd (The Regent Singapore Hotel) - Tanglin Rd - Orchard Rd (Delfi Orchard) - Bras Basah Rd (Raffles Hotel), and then back to the airport via Terminal 1 basement. Timings: Runs every 5-14 mins 0607-0005. Cost: Up to SGD$2 cash fare depending on distance travelled. Exact fare needed, pay the driver. Note: Air-conditioned bus. Takes up to 1 hour to the city.
Bus#53 To Bishan Interchange: Route: Terminal 2 Basement - Airport Blvd - PIE - Loyang Ave - Pasir Ris Dr 1 - Pasir Ris Dr 12 - TPE -  Tampines Rd - Hougang Ave 1 - Lor Ah Soo - Upper Paya Lebar Rd - Serangoon Central - Serangoon MRT station - Boundary Rd - Lor Chuan - Ang Mo Kio Ave 1 - Bishan Rd - Bishan Interchange. Timings: Runs every 7-15 mins 0614-0016. Cost: Up to SGD$2 cash fare depending on distance travelled. Exact fare needed, pay the driver. Note: Air-conditioned bus.

Changi Airfreight Centre Bus: Route: A shuttle service connecting the cargo side of the airport: Terminal 2 basement level - PTB - ALPS - CAC (loop service). Timings: Mon-Fri every 20 mins 0630-0900 then 1700-1900. Saturdays every 20 mins 0630-0900 and then 1200-1400.
Budget Terminal Shuttle: A free shuttle bus runs from Terminal 2 basement level to the Budget Airlines Terminal. It runs 24 hrs a day, every 10 mins 0430-2359 and every 30 mins outside these times. Takes 5-10 mins to get to the terminal.

By Shuttle Van: The MaxiCab Airport Shuttle runs a scheduled service with flexible routings to all hotels within the city (excluding Le Meridien Changi & Sentosa Island hotels). It runs from all terminals including the Budget Terminal. Alighting points are flexible and any destination within the Central Business District is served, including MRT stations. The 6-seater MaxiCabs are wheelchair accessible & have luggage space. Timings: Shuttles run 0700-2300. Every 30 mins 0700-1800 & every 15 mins 1800-2300. Cost: SGD $7 for adults & SGD $5 for children. Bookings can be made at the airport shuttle counters in arrivals, and payment is made to the driver. Contact: For more info, Tel CityCab +65 553 3880.
By Train:
MRT train to points all over Singapore: Overview: The MRT train system has routes all over Singapore and runs Mon-Sat every 10-20 mins 0519-2350. Sundays every 10-20 mins 0547-2350. It runs to Terminal 2 only. 
Getting to the City: Passengers going to the city get on the train at the basement level of Terminal 2 (well signed. Passengers in Terminal 1 must use the free SkyTrain on the departure level of Terminal 1 to get to T2). Buy your ticket from the touch screen machine and proceed to the platform. Take the first train, as all go to Tanah Merah Interchange. After ~6 mins, you will arrive at the 2nd stop, Tanah Merah Interchange. Transfer here is easy. Exit the train on the LEFT SIDE (important!) and cross the platform where a train to the city will shortly arrive. Total transfer time to the city center (City Hall) is about 25-30 mins. Cost SGD $2.80 including $1 deposit for the card. Note, the last train to the city leaves daily at 2318.
Getting to the Airport: Passengers from the city transfer at Tanah Merah Station (cross from one platform to the opposite one without exiting the Station). From Tanah Merah Station, trains stop at Expo and then Changi Airport T2. Passengers wishing to go to Terminal 1 can board the free SkyTrain on the same level in the Terminal 2 Departure Hall.
The fare for the MRT ride should not exceed SGD$ 1.80, but a $1 refundable deposit is charged when you buy your ticket card from the machine. Intervals are less than 10 mins. The trip is surprisingly easy, even with large bags.

Terminal 1 Rental Car Providers: AVIS 6545 0800. Desk in arrivals open 0700-2300.

Car Parking: Available at all 3 terminals. Budget Terminal Rates: Cars $0.02 per minute, with a daily maximum of $13.65. Motorcycles $1.30 per day.  Transfer between terminals: A free SkyTrain service runs between terminals 1 & 2 departure levels every minute or so 0600-0130 daily. It is possible to walk between terminals 1 and 2 via car park B and a designated walkway. The distance is 600m and can easily be walked in 15 mins. A free shuttle bus runs from Terminal 2 basement level to the Budget Airlines Terminal.  Baggage Storage: Luggage lockers available on the lower level in each terminal.  Airport Hotels: There are transit hotels airside in each terminal. If you wish to stay there, do not clear immigration or customs. Proceed straight to the hotel.Hotel reservation desks are in all terminals.  Airport Tax: Only payable for stays of 24 hrs or more.  Notes: ATMs/Cash machines available throughout, except in the Budget Terminal departures area. The Budget Terminal arrivals area has one ATM.Free internet access in T1 and T2 on dedicated computers. Free Singapore sightseeing tour 1000-1900 for passengers with 5 or more hrs to spare. Singapore - Seletar (XSP):  Location: 14 km/9 Miles NNE of downtown Singapore.  By Bus: Bus #86 runs to Yio Chu Kang MRT station on the Red North South Line. Takes 30 mins.
