Location: 4 km/2 Miles SSW of Catania, near Fontanarossa.

By Bus:
City bus#457:	Also labelled Alibus, connects the Airport to the city centre, every 20 min 0500-0000 and has stops right across the street from both the Excelsior Grand Hotel and the Jolly Hotel Bellini. Bus tickets must be bought at a booth just outside the terminal building. Fares are €0.80 for a 60-min valid ticket or €2 for a ticket valid until Midnight. Tickets must be validated in machines inside the bus, which put a time-and-date stamp on the ticket.
The Interbus line bus:	Leaves from the airport and runs to the centre. Timings: Runs 0840, 1040, 1140, 1325 (not Sunday), 1555, 1910 (not Saturday), 2010 & 2210 (not Sunday). However the bus is frequently late. Cost: ~€4.10.

By Bus:
Prestia e Comandè Bus to Palermo City:	Runs between the airport and the Stazione Centrale (central railway station) every 45 mins to 1 hour, 0500-2355, takes 45-60 mins and costs Route: Airport - via Belgio - via Ausonia - Piazza A. De Gasperi - via Croce Rossa - via Libertà (angolo viale Lazio) - Politeama - via Emerico Amari (Porto) - Palermo (Stazione Centrale/Central train station), Timings: Buses leave the airport every 30 mins 0630-2400. Buses leave the city every 30 mins 0500-2300. Cost: €5 one-way. Contact: Tel +39 091 580457.
Segesta Bus to Trapani:	Timings: The Bus leaves the airport at 1245. The Bus leaves Trapani at 0900. Does not operate on Sundays or Holidays. Cost: €6.40 one-way. Contact: Tel +39 091 6167919.
Sal Bus to Agrigento & Porto Empedocle:	Route: Airport - Agrigento (2 hrs 20) - Porto Empedocle/for ferry to Lampedusa etc. (2 hrs 40). Timings: The Bus leaves the airport at 0945, 1245 & 1930. The Bus leaves Porto Empedocle heading for the airport at 0630, 0930 & 1430. The Bus leaves Agrigento heading for the airport at 0650, 0950 & 1450. Does not operate on Sundays or Holidays. Cost: Agrigento €8.20 & Porto Empedocle €8.60 one-way. Contact: Tel +39 0922 401360.
Gallo Bus to Sciacca & Ribera:	Route: Airport - Sciacca - Ribera. Timings: The Bus leaves the airport at 1455. Does not operate on Sundays or Holidays. Cost: Sciacca €7.25 & Ribera €7.75 one-way. Contact: Tel +39 091 617 1141.

By Train:
General:	There is train station close to the terminal with regular trains running to Palermo city for €4.50 one-way.
Route:	Punta Raisi (near airport) - Piraineto - Carini (10 mins) - Capaci - Isola d Femmine (20 mins) - Tommaso Natale - Cardillo Z.E.N. - San Lorenzo Colli (30 mins) - Francia - Palermo city (40 mins). For Trapani, change trains at Carini.
Timings:	Trains leave Punta Raisi daily from 0532-2210 every 20-60 mins. Trains leave Palermo C. LE every 20-60 mins 0445-2110.
