Location: 16 km/10 Miles SW of the City
centre.
By Taxi: Metered taxis are readily available,
and are divided into 2 kinds - short and long distance. Cost: To the city
CNY 60-100/25-40 mins. Taxi
touts operate in the terminals offering inflated fares up to CNY 200.

road from the terminals is a bus stop, from where all departures go. It is
unlikely you will find anyone here who speaks English. |

Airport to Airport: Currently Airport bus line #1 connects Pudong Intl Airport
浦东国际机场
with Hong Qiao Airport (takes 35-50 mins)
and runs ~every 20 mins 0700-2300. CNY 30. In 2005 the underground metro line #2 will link Pudong and Hong Qiao airports.

Location:
30 km/19 Miles SE of the City.
By Taxi: All taxis are metered. To the city centre CNY
150-180/45-90 mins.
Note that fare rates will be higher at night, from 2300-0500. Beware of touts who will offer inflated prices. For
taxi Call 625 80 000.

There are 6 Airport Bus Routes which serve different areas of Shanghai between
0720-2300. These 6 buses run ~every 20 mins. Other buses also run to/from the airport. |

Shanghai Maglev Train: |
An extremely rapid Maglev Train Service (430 kph) is now open linking the airport with metro line #2 at Longyang station
龙阳路. Connection fron Long Yang station to the metro for other destinations all over the city (CNY 2 or 3). |

Airport Station: The MagLev station is between Terminals 1 and 2, which you can walk to via several long indoor corridors.
Enter opposite the KFC restaurant and purchase your ticket. |

Trains run every 15-20 mins 0645-2132.
Travel Time:
Journey time 7-8 mins. |

Cost:
CNY 50 one way (CNY 40 with an air ticket for the same day), CNY 80
round trip. |
