9 km/6 Miles NNW of the city.
By Taxi: To the city by day officially XOF 3000/US$5, at night XOF 3500/US$6.
The trip back to the airport is a little cheaper. Note: Taxi drivers in
Dakar are becoming more demanding, and it can be difficult to get them to take
you anywhere for less than XOF 5000. It may be better to arrange for the hotel
to send a taxi for you, or to walk to the road outside the airport and pick up a
cab there.
