Dammam King Fahd (DMM): Location: 24 km/15 Miles W of Dammam. The new airport serving the Dhahran Region. By Taxi: EUROPCAR offers chauffer driven cars to and from Bahrain into Saudi Arabia. To Bahrain: BHD 50 one way, BHD 90 return. Tel Bahrain 226688 for details. By Bus: There is an airport bus operated by SAPTCO which runs hourly to Dammam city. SAR 10/45 mins. Rental Cars: Budget, EUROPCAR, Theeb, AVIS, Hanco & HERTZ. NB: Women are not allowed to drive on public roads in Saudi Arabia, nor to be a passenger in a car with a man who is not an immediate family member. Jeddah - King Abdul Aziz (JED): Location: 17 km/11 Miles N Jeddah (Jiddah) City center. By Taxi: To the city centre SAR 45-100/25-35 mins. By Bus: An airport bus is reported to run to the city. ~SAR 50/30-40 mins. Other sources say no public transport exists. Awaiting clarification. Rental Cars: AVIS, Budget, Bin-Hadi & Hanco. Riyadh - King Khaled Intl (RUH): Location: 33 km/21 Miles N of the City. By Taxi: To the city centre SAR 60/30 mins. Limousines and authorized prepaid taxis marked with the airport logo are available 24 hrs a day. Women may take taxis. By Bus: No buses or other forms of public transport operate at this airport. Taxis and rental cars are the only options. Rental Cars: 10 rental companies including AVIS, Budget, Hanco, Bin Hadi & HERTZ operate at the airport.
