FRS Bus to Alghero: |
On leaving the terminal, turn right and cross the
car park. About 100 metres away are bus stops, with orange buses running to Alghero, and other buses heading to Sassari and Cagliari.
Tickets for the Alghero buses can be bought at the souvenir shop in the terminal
for 0.70. If this is closed, get on the bus anyway. The driver will sometimes stop for you to buy tickets, sometimes not.
Journey time to the city centre is 20 minutes.

By Train: There is
no station at the airport, however, trains run from the station in Alghero town to points all over the island, including Olbia, Sassari and Cagliari.

Bus: Buses operated by
ARST run into Piazza Matteotti in the city every 30 mins, roughly in accordance with flight
schedules. Cost is 2 one-way/15 mins. Tickets cannot be bought on the bus, but from the
machine at the bus stop.

Olbia (OLB):

3 km/2 miles SE of the city.

bus #2 runs to the city for ~1/10-15 mins. Route: Airport - Poltu Quadu - SS 125 - Via Roma Via Regina Elena - Corso Umberto I Via S.Simplicio Via G. DAnnunzio Viale A. Moro Via Gramsci Via Sangallo Viale A. Moro - Iperstanda.
Runs Mon-Sat every 30 mins 0830-2000. On Sundays every hour or so. ◊The
private bus line Deplano runs a daily service from Olbia airport to
Nuoro. Buses leave the airport at 1000, 1300, 1700 & 2300.
