São Paulo - Congonhas Intl (CGH): Location: 10 km/6 Miles SSW of the City centre. Airport Overview: One small terminal with arrivals on the lower level and departures upstairs. A new arrivals area is under construction on the upper level. By Taxi: ◊By Taxi Comum (Tel 5533 4037), R$25-30/25-40 mins to the city centre/Consolação. These taxis carry a conversion chart to correct the reading shown on the meter. The fare payable is ~16% higher than that shown on the meter. ◊Radio taxis may charge up to US$38. By Public Bus:
Outside the departures/North end of the airport upper level is a large busy road along which many buses run. Buses going towards the city stop on the same side of the road as the airport. Buses going away from the city, or arriving from the city stop on the other side. A pedestrian bridge is provided for crossing. Buses tend to be busy and hot due to the lack of air conditioning. The following buses stop here:
476A	runs to Ipiranga (Towards the city) and Sto Amaro (Away from the city).

By Airport Bus Service:
The Red & Blue Airport Bus Service (see photo) runs a regular service to Guarulhos Intl airport. Tel (11) 6221 0244. Airport Bus Service buses run from the arrivals/lower level (exit and turn left). Buses are comfortable and air-conditioned.

Off-Airport Rental Car Providers:	Budget has an office across the main road outside the terminal. Use the pedestrian bridge.

Car Parking: A large multi-floor car park is opposite the arrivals side of the terminal. Cost: First hour R$7, next hour R$2, each extra hour R$1.50. Daily maximum R$42. Baggage Storage: ◊Baggage storage is available between the arrivals and departures areas in the form of self service lockers, or an office for larger items. Provided by Malex. São Paulo - Guarulhos Intl (GRU): Location: 28 km/18 Miles E of Sao Paulo city centre. Airport Overview: 2 terminals which are joined together, and easily walked between. The terminals are divided into 2 wings (asas): Terminal 1 has wings A & B and Terminal 2 wings C & D. Arrivals are on the lower/ground level, departures on the upper level. The top floor is mostly for shopping. The terminals are mirror images of each other. Airline Locations: Terminal 1: Wing A: Air China, Air France, Aeromexico, Aerolineas Argentinas, Avianca, Alitalia, British Airways, Delta, Iberia, Japan Airlines, KLM, Lloyd Boliviano, Ocean Air, Passaredo, United Airlines & Web Jet. Wing B: GOL & TAM. Terminal 2: Wing C: America Air, Air Minas, Pluna, Varig/Rio-Sul & SAS. Wing D: American Airlines, Air Canada, Lufthansa, Continental, Copa, Lan Chile, Aerosur, South African, Swiss, TAP, Transamerican & Taca Peru. By Taxi: Official Pre-paid taxi R$85/35-60 mins or more. By Airport Bus Service:
On the lower level of each side of the terminal is a EMTU bus office. It is next to the rental car offices and is well signed. The main buses that run to the city are the Red & Blue Airport Bus Service (see photo). Tel (11) 6221 0244. Buses run from the arrivals level: some from Terminal 1 and some from Terminal 2, opposite their respective bus offices. It is only a 3 minute walk between the 2 terminals. On the ground beside each bus is a sign showing the destination and departure time. Buses are comfortable and air-conditioned. There are several routes:

Easy access here to the metro train system (R$2.30 per trip). Connections here also to long distance buses all over Brazil. By Public Bus:
Public buses depart from the lower/arrivals level of Terminal 1. From Terminal 2 it is only a short walk (3 mins). These buses tend to be busy and hot due to the lack of air-conditioning.
Linha Municipais 08B to Pq Alvorada:	Route: Airport (T1 arrivals) - Parque Cecap - Cumbica - Parque Uirapuru - Cidade Jardim Cumbica - Parque Stella - Parque Alvorada.
Linha Municipais 25 to Praça da Saudade:	Route: Airport (T1 arrivals) - Parque Cecap - Macedo - Centro - Picanço.
Linha Municipais 25 A to Base Aérea:	Route: Airport (T1 arrivals) - Parque Cecap - Cumbica - Base Aerea (Air Base) - Paes de Barros.
Linha Municipais J1 to Carmela:	Route: Carmela - Bonsucesso - Presidente Dutra - Cumbica - Airport (T1 arrivals) - Shopping Intl - Guarulhos bus terminal.
Bus to Praia Grande:	Route: A bus runs Airport - Santos - Sao Vicente - Praia Grande. Timings: Buses leave the airport at 0510, 0930, 1240 & 1810. Cost: Santos R$16.74, Sao Vicente R$18.10 & Praia Grande R$19.64. Notes: See the bus offices in arrivals for details and tickets.
Hotel Buses:	Several local hotels have shuttles for guests including: Marriott Sao Paulo Airport Hotel, Cesar Park (free shuttle every 20 mins 0600-2400, tel (11) 2124 5800) & Monaco Hotel. Hotel shuttle pick up at the far end of terminal 2 arrivals (exit and turn right).

By Train: A metro station is planned for the airport in the future, but at present, there is no train service.

Rental Cars:
On-Airport Rental Car Providers:	*AVIS, Budget, Hertz, Localiza, Locar Alpha* & Unidas. Rental car desks are in one of the 2 rental car areas, on the lower/arrivals level. After exiting to the street, follow the signs.
Off-Airport Rental Car Providers:	Trans Sol, 3544 3641 or 9719 1699, runs shuttles from the airport to its rental location.

Car Parking: Long & short term parking is available at the airport. Car parking pyment offices are in either side on the arrivals level. 1 hour R$7.50, 2 hrs R$10, 3 hrs R$12, 4 hrs R$13.50, extra hours R$1.50. Daily max R$31.50. Baggage Storage: Malex do Brasil operate a left luggage service in arrivals that is open 24 hrs a day. Cost per day (until midnight): Small (up to 40 cm) R$7, Medium (up to 50 cm) R$8, large (up to 80 cm) R$12 & X-Large (up to 150 cm) R$18. Bags over 150 cm are charged R$32.
