km/3 Miles S of the City.
Airport Overview:
In addition to the regular passenger terminal, Qatar Airways has recently opened
a Premium class terminal, solely for passengers travelling in their first and
business cabins. It is a short distance away from the main terminal.
On Foot:
It is possible to walk to Doha in about 40 mins.
By Taxi: To Doha city centre
bus station ~QAR 25. To the main hotel area in the city ~QAR 35.
Transport in Qatar is generally safe and there is no need to tip.

Timings: Buses leave the airport terminal heading to Al Ghanim Bus Station Sun-Thu every hour 0550-2350. Friday every hour 0650-2350. Buses leave the airport terminal heading to Al Wakra Sun-Thu every hour 0545-2245 & 2340. Fridays every ~60 mins 0542-2342. Travel Times: To Al Ghanim Bus Station 15 mins. To Al Wakra ~30 mins. |
