Prague/Praha - Ruzyne (PRG):

Location: 16 km/10 Miles W of the City.
Airport Overview: There are now 3 terminals, 1, 2 & 3. Terminal 1 & Terminal 2 are close together and easily walked in 5 mins. An elevated walkway or Skybridge also connects the terminals. Terminal 3 is for private flights only, and is reached by taxi or bus. Terminal 2 is for flights to and from Schengen countries only (Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Austria, Greece, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg & Germany). There are limited services in the terminal, but all buses stop outside. Terminal 1 is for flights to all other countries. It has a full range of services. There are plans to extend the city metro to the airport by 2013.

Note: Taxi drivers in Prague have a poor reputation due to overcharging, so be careful.

By Local Bus:
General: This airport is very well served by buses. Buses stop across the road from the arrivals halls on the ground level of both terminals. (M) indicates a metro station. Metro trains run 0500-2400 every 2-10 mins. Cost: Day passes for the buses are CZK 100 for 24 hrs, CZK 330 for 72 hrs and CZK 500 for 5 days. There are also now "transport information centres" in the arrivals terminals which sell all the tickets and passes, meaning you don't need loads of coins for the machines any more. It is slightly cheaper to buy your bus ticket from the vending machines at the bus stop rather than from the driver. Tickets can also be bought at the public transport counters in the arrivals hall of terminal 1. For each piece of luggage larger than 25 cm x 45 cm x 70 cm (10 in x 18 in x 28 in), it is necessary to purchase a CZK 13 transfer ticket.
Airport Express (AE) Bus to (M) Nádraží Holešovice: Route: A non-stop service running from both terminals to (M) Nádraží Holešovice (Holesovice Train & Bus station) in the city. Connections to buses, Metro and trains all over the country can be made here. Train connections to Pardubice, Olomouc & Ostrava are relatively easy. Timings: Buses leave the airport every 30 mins 0500-2100. Buses leave the bus/train station in the city every 30 mins 0515-2145. Transfer Times: To the city 30-35 mins. Express Bus 100 to Zličín (M): Route: Airport (Terminal 1 - Terminal 2 - U Hangáru - Terminal Jih) - Zličín (M). Connect here to the Metro system. Timings: Buses leave the airport to Zličín (M) Mon-Fri 0541-2336 ~every 15-30 mins. Saturdays & Sundays every 20-30 mins 0540-2336. Takes ~17 mins. Transfer Times: To Zličín ~18 mins. Bus 119 to Dejvická (M): Route: Airport (Terminal 1 - Terminal 2 - U Hangáru - Na Padesatniku - Terminal Jih) - K Letisti - Dědina - Nová Šárka - Divoká Šárka - Sidliště Červený Vrch - Dejvická (Metro). Connect here to stations all over the city. Timings: Buses leave the airport terminals very frequently (every 6-30 mins depending on time of day) Mon-Fri 0416-0006. General: This airport is very well served by buses. Buses stop across the road from the arrivals halls on the ground level of both terminals.
CSA Bus to Brno: CSA (Czech Airlines) runs a bus from the airport (check in at counter 130 of the departure hall) to Brno (Benešova Street, opposite the Hotel Grand. Timings: Buses leave Prague Airport at 0900 (not weekends), 1100, 1245, 1730, 1915 & 2115 (not satudays) arriving in Brno 2 hrs 45 later. Buses leave Brno at 0315 (not weekends), 0530 (not sundays), 0730, 1245, 1500 & 1630 arriving at Prague airport 2 hrs 45 later. Contact: Tel +420 239 007 007.
