Route:
Florence Airport - F Santoni - Florence
Santa Maria Novella (SMN) Train Station. The bus stop at the station can be
found be exiting to the left side and turning left again. No schedule is
posted, but there is a an airport bus stop sign. There is a bus
information office at the other side of the station. Timings:
Buses leave the train station daily every 30 mins 0530-2300. Buses leave
the airport every 30 mins 0600-2330. Travel Time: Takes 20-25 mins.
Cost: 5 one way. |

to Florence & Florence Airport: |
There is a bus service
operated by Terravision to Florence & Florence Airport. Route:
Pisa Airport - Florence (Santa Maria Novella station/70 mins) - Florence
Airport (85 mins).
Cost:
10 adult one way and 4 child one way. Adult return 16. Child return 8.
Timings: Departs Pisa Airport at 0840, 1020, 1130, 1210, 1310, 1430, 1550, 1700,

3 km/2 Miles S of Pisa, 80 km/50 miles W of Florence/Firenze.

By Taxi:
Call 050 541600. Typical fare to Pisa 6-8/10 mins. An excess of 2 applies on Sundays and holidays.
To Florence/Firenze ~130/45-60 mins. Ensure that
the driver switches on the meter at the start of your journey. The new
Collective Taxi
service leaves the airport every 10 mins and run to the Train Station and to
the Leaning Tower. It costs 2.50 per person and runs 0800-2400. Max
8 persons per taxi.

By Bus: |

CPT Red Bus to Pisa: |
The
Compagnia Pisana Trasporti Red bus runs to the city centre every 20 mins. The
route passes by the leaning tower and stops at
Pisa Central Station, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, Riversides (4 stops) and Santa
Chiara Hospital. The 0.95 ticket is valid for 1 hour
on the entire city network.
Tickets can be purchased from the
newsagents in the train station before boarding
or from the automatic ticket machine at the
bus terminus, which is just outside the Arrivals area. It can be
recognized by a green shelter marked City Bus. A second
stop is on the departures side, near the car park cash desk.
You pick the bus up outside the Jolly Hotel right opposite the train
station. |

There is a bus service
operated by Terravision to Florence & Florence Airport. Route:
Pisa Airport - Florence (Santa Maria Novella station/70 mins) - Florence
Airport (85 mins).
Cost:
10 adult one way and 4 child one way. Adult return 16. Child return 8. A special 'Round Florence' ticket is available which includes a one-way airport transfer and a Florence Travelcard for all-day travel. Adult 14, child 8.

Departs Pisa Airport at 0840, 1020, 1130, 1210, 1310, 1430, 1550, 1700,
1740, 1800, 2100 & 2200. Departs Firenze Airport 0530, 0710, 0820,
1140,
1310, 1400, 1440, 1510, 1610 & 1740. |
By Train: Pisa Airport has its own
train station.
Direct railway lines connect the Airport to Florence, Lucca, Viareggio, Pistoia & Montecatini. Tickets can be bought at the
info office in the terminal. There are 10 trains a day to Firenze/Florence
1026-0049, the line continuing to Pontedera and Empoli. One-way fare
to Florence 5.60/60 mins. The train serving Florence (Firenze Santa Maria Novella Station) is usually a shuttle service to Pisa central and then a straight connection to Florence. When leaving Florence you can check in for flights leaving Pisa, at the air terminal in Firenze SMN station on platform 5.
