| Amtrak Bus | AMTRAK runs trains to Bakersfield (a long way North) and connects to this service by Bus #19. It stops at this airport twice a day in each direction. Southbound it leaves Bakersfield at 1355 & 1425 and routes via La Crescenta - Pasadena Hilton - Claremont Metrolink Station - San Bernardino Amtrak - San Bernardino McDonalds - Beaumont Civic Center - calling at PSP airport at 1845 & 2110. It then continues south to Palm Desert & Indio (Highway 111 at Monroe) arriving in Indio 55 mins later. Northbound it departs Indio at 0700 & 0930, stops at Palm Springs airport at 0800 & 1030, and arrives at Bakersfield Amtrak at 1300 & 1530. The train then connects onto Hanford, Fresno, Merced, Modesto, Stockton, Sacramento & Oakland. Advance reservations are required on this service. The bus stop can be found by exiting the terminal at the far right (North End) and turning right. 50m walk. |
