Belfast International - Aldergrove (BFS):
Location: 21 km/13 miles W of the City.

Airport Layout: A check in area on the ground level, with departures up an escalator. Arrivals are also on the lower level. Buses stop on the lower level outside the terminal.


By Taxi:

By Bus:
General: Outside of the airport and to the right there are 2 bus stops. The first is for the Airbus to Belfast, the second is for the Airporter. There are 2 bus stations in Belfast city centre: The Europa Bus Station (connected to the Great Victoria St Rail Station) behind the Europa Hotel on Glengall St; and the Laganside bus station.
Airport Express 300 to Belfast city centre The Airbus service operates between the airport & Belfast City Centre.
Route: Airport - Templepatrick (various stops) - Royal Avenue - Castle Place - Donegall Place - Donegall Square - Europa Bus Centre behind the Europa Hotel on Glengall St (Stand 11).
Timings: Departs the airport Mon-Fri: 0130, 0230, 0330, 0430, 0530, 0620, 0650, 0710, then every 10 mins until 0850, 0905, then every 10 mins until 1815, 1830, 1845, 1900, 1915, 1930, 1950, 2010, 2040, 2110, 2140, 2210, 2240, 2310, 2350 & 0030. Airporter to Belfast City Airport: Airporter operate a frequent daily coach service to/from Belfast City Airport.
Route: Belfast International Airport - Belfast City Airport.
Timings: Departs the Intl Airport heading for Belfast City Airport Mon-Fri at 0530, 0630, 0730, 0900, 1030, 1130, 1230, 1330, 1400, 1500, 1630, 1800, 1700, 1930 & 2100. Saturdays at 0730, 0930, 1130, 1330, 1530 & 1730. Sundays at 0930, 1130, 1330, 1530, 1730 & 1930. Departs Belfast City Airport Mon-Fri at 0645, 0745, 0845, 1015, 1115, 1215, 1315, 1415, 1545, 1715, 1845, 2015 & 2215. Saturdays at 0815, 1015, 1215, 1415, 1615 & 1815. Sundays at 1015, 1215, 1415, 1615, 1815 & 2015. Travel Time: Takes 30-45 mins to get to Belfast City Airport.

To Antrim An hourly bus service, the Antrim Airlink, operates Mon-Sat 0745-1945. The one-way fare is £1.25 & £2.25 return. The bus leaves from the front of the airport terminal for Antrim Bus and Rail Station, connecting with services to Londonderry, Portrush, Coleraine, Magherafelt and Ballymena.
To the Republic of Ireland No direct buses run from the airport, but from the Europa bus centre or from the Jurys Inn Hotel in Belfast.

Rental Cars:
On-Airport Rental Car Providers: AVIS 028 (or possibly 048) 9442 2333, Budget 048 9442 3332, EUROPCAR 9442 3444, Hertz 9442 2533 & ALAMO/National 9442 2285 all have desks on the lower/arrivals level of the terminal. Dan Dooley has a free phone in arrivals and is now located about 1 km/½ Mile from the terminal. Red Cent, 028 9445 2777, has cars for rent inside the Park Plaza Hotel.

Car Parking:
Short Term Parking: Q Park Short term parking: Across the road from the terminal. Cost: 30 mins £1, 1 hour £3, 1-8 hrs £3 per hour, 24 hrs £30. Extra days £30.
Long-Term Parking: Several companies operate at the airport:
Q Park Long term parking: A 3 minute walk from the terminal. Exit arrivals and turn left, next to the ALAMO/National rental car pick up point. Cost: 30 mins £1, 1 hour £3, 1-2 hrs £3 per hour, 24 hrs £9.50. 1-4 days £9.50 per day, 6 days £42, 7 days £42. Extra days £6.
Red Cent Airport Parking: Located about 3km/2 Miles from the airport and connected by a shuttle bus. Parking from £2.50 per day.

Airport to Airport: Taxi to Belfast City airport £27-35. To City of Derry Airport ~£55/70-90 mins. Airporter bus runs from Belfast Intl Airport to Belfast City Airport. See bus section. Taxi to Dublin airport £120.

: 5 km/3 Miles to the East of Belfast city centre.

By Bus:
General: 2 buses call at the airport, and stop outside the terminal (exit arrivals and walk to the left for 50m). The main bus station in Belfast city centre is The Europa Bus Station (connected to the Great Victoria St Rail Station) behind the Europa Hotel on Glengall St. It is part of the Great Northern Mall.
Airlink Bus 600 to the city centre: Runs a frequent minibus service to the Europa Bus station Station in the city centre.
Route: Airport - Sydenham (Footbridge to local train station) - Oxford St/Queens Bridge - Donegall Square South - Europa Bus Centre (stand 1). On the way back to the airport the bus calls at Wellington Place & Queens Square.
Timings: Buses leave the airport Mon-Fri at 0600, 0630, 0700, 0735, 0805, 0835, 0855, 0920, 0945 then every 20 mins until 2205. Saturdays at 0600, 0630, 0700, 0735, 0805, 0825, then every 20 mins until 1805, 1830, 1910, 1950, 2030, 2110 & 2150. Sundays at 0730, 0815, 0945, 1030 then every 40 mins until 2150. Buses leave the Europa Centre Mon-Fri at 0545, 0615, 0645, 0715, 0740 then every 20 mins until 2140. Sat at 0545, 0615, 0645, 0715, 0740 then every 20 mins until 1740, 1805, 1845, 1925, 2005, 2045 & 2125. Sundays at 0715, 0755, 0925, 1005, then every 40 mins until 2125. Travel Times: Takes ~15 mins to the city centre.

Airporter to Belfast International Airport: Airporter operate a frequent daily coach service to/from Belfast International Airport. Airporter buses leave from outside the terminal (exit arrivals and walk to the right for 50m).
Route: Belfast City Airport - Belfast International Airport.
Timings: Departs Belfast City Airport Mon-Fri: 0645, 0745, 0845, 1015, 1115, 1215, 1315, 1415, 1545, 1715, 1845, 2015 & 2215. Saturdays: 0815, 1015, 1215, 1415, 1615 & 1815. Sundays: 1015, 1215, 1415, 1615, 1815 & 2015. Travel Times: Takes 45 mins to get to the Intl Airport.
Cost: Family tickets available. Over 65's free. Pay on board. Contact: Tel 028 7126 9996 or see www.airporter.co.uk.

By Train: There is no train station at the airport, however Sydenham station is close by. Exit the terminal and cross the car park on to the main road in front. Turn right and walk along the pavement for about 5-10 mins until you reach a pedestrial bridge. Cross this bridge to arrive at the station. Trains run to Belfast city and to Bangor. You can connect at Belfast Central station to trains to Dublin. Travel time from Belfast to Dublin by train is ~2:15.

Ulsterbus 143 & 234 to Limavady: Route: Runs from the stop outside arrivals to Limavady. Timings: Runs infrequently: Buses leave the airport Mon-Fri at 0748, 0818, 0848, 0930, 0943, 1243 & 1543. Ulsterbus to Coleraine: Route: Runs from the stop outside arrivals to Coleraine. Timings: Runs very infrequently: Buses leave the airport Mon-Fri only at 0930. Contact: Tel 028 90 66 66 30 or www.translink.co.uk.
Other Buses: Other buses can be reached by walking ½ km/¼ Mile to the airport entrance on the main Londonderry to Coleraine road. Buses pass by here every 30 mins or so. Bus services are available to Londonderry city centre, Limavady & Coleraine.
