Шереметьево (SVO):
Location: 27
km/17 Miles NW of City Centre.
Airport Overview: 4 terminals, with
Terminal D now open. Terminals are A to D. Terminal 1 (A) is for domestic
flights and flights to Belarus. Terminal 2 is being renamed terminal
B. Terminal D is the home of Aeroflot at Sheremetievo.
Driving directions: From Moscow, take
the M-10 motorway northwestbound. Leningradskoye Rd.
Takes ~40 mins.
By Taxi: RUR
1000-1500/US$30-50/40-60 mins to the Kremlin, although reports of US$100 are not uncommon. Long queues for taxis and reports of hijack and
attacks by taxi drivers. To avoid this take official taxi with fixed rate at the taxi counter, although it is more expensive.
Traffic can be terrible on this route and trips of 2 hours are not uncommon.

RUR 250 one-way in standard class, RUR 350 for first class.
