Ulan Bataar/Ulaanbaatar - Chinggis Khaan Intl (ULN):
Location: 12 km/7 miles SW of Ulan Bator. By Taxi: To the city ~US$5/15 mins. Much more expensive than the bus, but worth the extra. By Bus: Local Bus#11 runs 0600-2200 to the city and takes ~ 30 mins. Rental cars: Reported to be available, but many sources advise against driving your own ca in Mongolia. Airport Tax: Departure tax is MNT 12500/~US$11, and is usually not included in the ticket price. It can be paid at special counters on departure. Long lines can form here, so allow plenty of time.
