2 terminals: Terminal 1 & 2. Most flights depart from Terminal 1. Trains run from the basement level and buses from the arrivals level.

By Bus:
Malpensa Shuttle to Milan City: Route: Terminal 1 (Exit 6/Stop 2 or 3) - Terminal 2 - Milan Fair - Piazza Luigi di Savoia, alongside the Central Railway Station in Milan City centre. Returning to Malpensa Airport, the bus stops at Terminal 2 on request only. Timings: Departs the airport at 0530, 0620 then every 20 mins until 2200, 2230, 2300, 2330, 0015, 0130, 0230, 0330 & 0430. Departs the Central train station in Milan at 0215, 0425, 0500 then every 20 mins until 2200, then 2230 & 2315. Takes ~50 mins. Cost: €5 (children 2-12 half price). Tickets can be bought on board or at newsagents. Contact: Tel 02 58 58 31 85.
Air Pullman Milano Runs from Piazza Castello in Milan to Malpensa Airport 0730-2330, From Malpensa 0830-1730.
Sadem runs buses to Torino/Turin leaving Malpensa at 0700, 0900 & 1830. Cost €15.50. Tel 011 3000611
Malpensa Bus Express to Milan City: Runs to Piazza Luigi di Savoia, alongside the Central Railway Station in Milan City centre. Timings: Departs the airport T1 at 0555, 0645 then every 30 mins until 2245. Stops at Terminal 2 10 mins later. Takes 50 mins to the city. Leaves the central train station in Milan at 0435, 0510 then every 20-30 mins until 2110. Travel Time: Takes ~50 mins. Cost: €6.50. Buy tickets on board. Contact: Tel +41 91 994 88 78.
Bus Express www.busexpress.com to Lugano: operate buses to Lugano & Chiasso. One way to Lugano €20, return €35. Children 2-12 50% off, under 2's free. Buses leave Malpensa terminal 1 (Exit 4/Stop 19) at 0700 0900 1030 1230 1430 1630 1830 2030 & 2245. They arrive at T2 10 mins later, Chiasso train station 40 mins after that and Lugano  20 mins later. Departures from Lugano station are at 0445 0635 0830 1030 1230 1430 1705 1830 & 2000 with similar timings. Tel +41 91 994 88 78. Buy tickets on board.
Malpensa Shuttle to Milan Linate Airport: Runs to Linate airport, with stops at Gobba & Cormano. Departs Malpensa Terminal 1 (Exit 4/Stop 20) at 0750, 0930, 1100, 1230, 1420, 1530, 1650, 1820, 2225 & 0025. Takes 70 mins. Stops at Malpensa Terminal 2 10 mins later (on request only). Cost: Adults €6, children (2-12) half price. Tickets can be bought on the bus. Contact: Tel 0331 25 84 11.
To Genoa/Genova & Alessandria: Departs from Exit 4/Stop 17
To Novara Oleggio: Departs from Exit 4/Stop 14
Gallarate: Buy tickets on board. Connect at Gallarate train station for trains to Milan Central train station and Milan Garibaldi train station.
To Como: Buy tickets on board. Departs fromExit 4/Stop 13
To Lago Maggiore etc: Route: Lago Maggiore - Arona - Baveno - Verbania - Domodossola. Departs from Exit 4/Stop 12
To Pavia & Milano Famagosta: Departs from  Exit 4/Stop 11
To Turin/Torino: Departs from Exit 4/Stop 18
Bologna Shuttle to Bologna airport: Route: Bologna Airport (arrivals level) - Modena Nordo/Fiera - Reggio Emilia - Parma - Piacenza - Lodi - Rozzano - Milan Malpensa Airport Terminal 2 - Milan Malpensa Airport Terminal 1. Timings: Buses run twice per day, leaving Bologna airport at 0620 & 1520, arriving at Malpensa at 0900 & 1900. Buses leave Malpensa Airport T1 at 0900 & 1300, T2 at 0910 & 1310, arriving at Bologna airport at 1240 & 1640 respectively. Cost: One way to Bologna airport €56. Contact: Tel +39 (0)51 606 6586.

By Train:
Malpensa Express to central Milan (Cadorno): Rapid train runs every 30 mins to and from Milan Cadorna railway station (Stazione Nord). The airport railway station is at the -1 level of terminal 1.  
Route: Airport station - Busto Arsizio (only those trains leaving the airport at 02 mins past the hour) - Saronno - Bovisa Politecnico - Cadorno Station.
Timings: Trains leave the airport every 30 mins 0653-2153. Trains leave Cadorno Station in the city every 30 mins 0557-2057. Travel Time: Takes 30-40 mins.
Cost: €11 one way, €12 same day return if bought at the station. Tickets bought on board the train are more expensive, upto €12 one-way.
Local train to Milan Central Train station: It is possible to get to Malpensa Airport from Milan Central train station and Milan Garibaldi station, by routing via Gallarate State Rail. Trains depart from Milan 0730-2130, and a dedicated shuttle bus runs from Gallarate station to the Airport (0605-2015). Tickets on the shuttle cost €1.50 to terminal 1 and €1.25 to terminal 2.

Airport to Airport: To Linate Airport: the Malpensa Express (see above) runs to Malpensa Airport several times per day for €9. By Limo (see above) €95. To Bergamo/Orio al Serio Airport: No direct service other than by taxi. For bus service, take the Malpensa Express and change at the central station.
Inter-Terminal Transfer:
 A free shuttle bus connects terminals 1 and 2 every 10 mins 0530-0030 and every hour through the night. The stop for Terminal 1 is by the railway station.

Car Parking: Terminal 1 Multi Storey:
0-6 hrs €8, up to 12 hrs €14 & up to 24 hrs €18.50. Valet parking available.

Hotels near the airport: The Sheraton Hotel is due to open next to Terminal 1 in summer 2010.
