Malmö - Sturup (MMX):
Location24 km/15 Miles ESE of Malmö, 24 km/15 Miles SE of Lund.
Airport Overview:
One small terminal divided into departure and arrivals sides. Car rentals are available from the covered car park outside.


By Taxi:
General: There is a taxi desk in the arrivals part of the terminal. Taxis wait outside the terminal.
Meter Rates: Taxi Malmö rates are: Rate 1 (Mon-Fri 0600-1800): Initial charge SEK 35, then SEK 14 per km and SEK 360 per hour waiting. Rate 2 (All other times): Initial charge SEK 35, then SEK 16 per km and SEK 480 per hour waiting.
Cost: To Malmo or Lund ~SEK 400. Some drivers may ask up to SEK 600 from Malmo city to the airport, so ask first. The situation at the airport is clearer with many cars having fares posted on the window (generally between SEK 329 and SEK 415). Travel Time: Takes 20-30 mins to Malmo city centre.

By Bus:
Flygbussarna bus service to Svedala & Malmo: The Flygbussarna bus service links the airport with Malmo Central Station (40 mins), ideal for train transfers to Copenhagen. At the airport, the bus stop is right outside arrivals. Exit the door and turn right. The nearer bus stop is for Malmo, the further one for Lund. In Malmo, to find the bus stop, exit the train station and follow signs for buses. Outside the station is a large bus station, and beyond that a taxi rank. The airport bus stop is across the river behind the taxis - cross the road bridge and look for bus stop G opposite the Savoy Hotel on Norra Vallgatan. See Map.
Route: Airport - Svedala E65 - Jägersro Shopping Center - Persborg - Södervärn - Triangeln - Kungsgatan - Studentgatan - Djäknegatan - Malmo Central Train Station (see above for location). Buses stop at Svedala train station on request (takes only 12 mins).
Timings: Services are frequent Mon-Fri, but less so at the weekend. Buses leave the airport generally every 25-60 mins 0720-0005 Mon-Fri. On Saturdays at 1020, 1125, 1240, 1420, 1700 & 2130. On Sundays, buses are less frequent, leaving the airport at 0745, 1330, 1410, 1620, 1700, 1800, 1905, 1940, 2100, 2220, 2300 & 0010. Buses leave the city centre generally every 25-60 mins 0500-1930 Mon-Fri. See website for full details. Travel Time: To Malmo Train station 40 mins, Jägersro Shopping Center 22 mins.
Cost: Adult one way SEK 99, Child 0-15 yrs free, youth (16-25 yrs) & seniors SEK 79 to Malmö Central Station. Adult round trip SEK 179. To Svedala Train station Adult SEK 35, youth SEK 20, adult round trip SEK 60. Note: Cash is no longer accepted on these buses - payment is by credit card, SMS or internet only. It is also possible to buy tickets from the ticket desk in the train station or from the machines at the airport. Contact: Tel 040 669 62 91.
Flygbussarna bus service to Lund: The Flygbussarna bus service links the airport with Lund station (40 mins), ideal for train transfers to Helsingborg & Hässleholm. At the airport, the bus stop is right outside arrivals. Exit the door and turn right. The nearer bus stop is for Malmo, the further one for Lund.
Route: Airport - Staffanstorp - Höjdpunkten - Ideon - Kårhuset - Universitets sjukhuset - Lund train station.
Timings: Services are frequent Mon-Fri, but less so at the weekend. Buses leave the airport generally every 25-60 mins 0720-0005 Mon-Fri. Buses leave the city centre generally every 25-60 mins 0505-1915 Mon-Fri. Saturdays at 1020, 1125, 1240, 1420, 1700 & 2130. Sundays at 0745, then every hour or so 1330-0010. See website for full details. Travel Time: To Lund 35 mins. To Staffanstorp 15 mins.

Rental Cars:
On-Airport Rental Car Providers: AVIS +46 40 50 05 15, Budget 26 06 20, eSixT 50 00 00, EUROPCAR 50 02 60, MABI 661 01 50 &  Hertz 50 02 57. The rental car offices are in the big yellow car park next to the terminal (P4). Exit the terminal and turn left - follow signs for rental cars.

Car Parking:
General: All Car parks are within walking distance from the terminal.
P1 & P3 (open air): SEK 20 per hour, SEK 130 per day, SEK 400 per week, SEK 600 for 2 weeks.
P2 (open air): SEK 200 per day.
P4 (covered parking): SEK 250 per day.
Hourly Parking: Minimum charge SEK 120, maximum charge SEK 20. Max time allowed 4 hrs.

Baggage Storage: Left luggage lockers are available in the basement area near the toilets. Cost: Large Locker SEK 25, small locker SEK 15. Costs are per day with a maximum of 14 days.
Money Services:
ATM/Cash machine is in the terminal.
Airport Hotels: Best Western Airport Hotel
is within walking distance from the terminal. Tel +46 40 50 05 70.
Notes:
There is an information desk in the terminal. Wireless internet available at a cost. There is a gas/petrol station at the entrance to the airport.
