km/3 Miles SW of the city center.
Airport Overview:
There are 2 terminals, quite far from each other and not and the same route.
Terminal 1: Malaysia Airlines & Royal Brunei Airlines.
Terminal 2: Low cost airlines, mostly Air Asia but also Tiger Airways.
By Taxi:
Pre paid taxi coupons are available in the terminal for trips to the city.
Average cost to the city is MYR 20. Expect
to pay a little less for the trip back to the airport. takes ~15 mins. Note: Fares increase after midnight.

Bus:
Minibus service:
Minibuses run regularly
from the airport to the bus stop at Wawasan Plaza. Cost: ~MYR 2 per
person.
Local Buses:
Local Buses #17 & #19 do
not call at the terminal, but run past the airport entrance every hour
or so. Cost: To the city MYR 1.
From Terminal 2:
To get to the city by bus from T2: on the right when you go out, take bus 16A.
The terminus is Wawasan Plaza

km/5 Miles SSW of Kuching.
By Taxi:
Pre paid taxi coupons are available in the terminal for trips to the city.
Average cost to Kuching city is MYR 20, Damai MYR 48 & UNIMAS is MYR 33. Expect
to pay a little less for the trip back to the airport. Note: Fares
increase after midnight by 50%.

Bus:
Public buses stop just outside the arrivals hall.
STC bus#12A:
Sarawak Transport Company (STC) bus 12A runs in a circular route, stopping at the airport
and various points in the city centre. Timings: Buses leave the
airport at 0710, 0910, 1310 & 1500. Cost: MYR 1/45 mins.
CLL bus#8A:
Runs to and from the city centre every 70-80 mins 0645-1845. Cost: MYR 1.50.

By Bus: Batu Bus #7 does not
stop at the terminal, but on the main road just outside the airport, and only a short walk. It runs to Centre Point in the city for ~MYR 2.

By Road: To Sibu 23 km/14 Miles.
By Taxi: Pre paid taxi coupons are available in the terminal for trips to the city. Average cost to Sibu city is MYR 30.
By Bus: Local Bus #3A runs between the airport and the city every 90 mins or so 0600-1800. Cost: MYR 3/25-30 mins.

By Taxi:
To Town MYR 35-40.
By Bus: A shuttle bus runs to the bus
station in Tawau, but is fairly infrequent, only running 7 times a day.
Timings: Airport - Tawau town: 0715, 0915, 1050, 1215, 1430, 1550 & 1850.
Tawau town - Airport: 0530, 0800, 0830, 1030, 1300, 1430 & 1700. Cost MYR
5/Takes 20 mins.
