Lyon - St Exupéry (LYS): Location: 19 km/12 Miles E of the City. Airport Map: Click here. Airport Overview: One terminal area with shops in the middle and a train station linked to it. The rental car areas are reached by a free shuttle bus. By Road: The airport is signed from the city as Saint Exupéry. If driving to the airport from the city, take the A43/E70 and follow signs for St Exupery. A toll of €1.70 is payable in both directions for cars. More for larger vehicles. Signage in the city and airport area is poor. Following signs from the airport to the city, leads you to a roundabout after about 3 miles. The choices on the signs are Geneva or Grenoble. No mention of Lyon! In fact the Geneva sign will take you to the city.
