Location: 8 km/5 Miles NE of Luxembourg city centre. 38km/24 miles SW of Trier in Germany.
Airport Overview: One small terminal with both arrivals and departures on one level. However, technically, the airport is divided into terminals A and B. Terminal B is for flights to Schengen countries, while Terminal A is for non-Schengen destinations. Check-in for all flights is in Terminal A. Passengers for Schengen countries, then proceed to Terminal B for boarding.

| City Bus#16 to the city centre & Kirchberg: | Route: Runs from the airport through Kirchberg, the city centre calling at the Gare centrale/Main train station and on to Bonnevoie, Howald & Hesper. Route Details: Airport - Sennéngerbierg-Héienhaff - John F Kennedy - Coudenhove-Kalergi - Philarmonie/MUDAM - Fondation Pescatore - Royal - Paris - Gare Central/Main Train station - Dernier Sol - Neufchâteau - Rangwee - Howald-Ronnebesch - Hesper-Cité Um Schlass. To catch the bus from the train station, go to Quai 9, right outside the main station entrance. Timings: Buses leave the airport Mon-Fri every 10-20 mins 0528-2043, 2128, 2143 & 2243. Saturdays every 15-20 mins 0528-2043, 2143 & 2243. Sundays every 30 mins 0658-2158 & 2243. ◊Buses leave the Gare Centrale/Main Station Quai 9 Mon-Fri every 10-20 mins 0539-2109 & 2139. Saturdays every 15-20 mins 0539-2109 & 2139. Sundays every 30 mins 0624-2154. Travel Time: Takes ~25 mins to the Gare Centrale & 40 mins to Hesper. Cost: One way €1.50. Pay the driver. Change given.
