| Via Liverpool Lime Street | The Airlink 500 bus runs every 30 mins (see bus section above) to Liverpool Lime Street station in the city centre. Transfer time 35 mins. This is Liverpool's main station, and from here, connections are possible to the rest of the UK. |
| Via Liverpool South Parkway Station | This is the closest train station to the airport. Buses 80A, 86A & 886 run to Liverpool South Parkway station. For details see bus section above. Trains from here run to Liverpool, Southport, Warrington, Manchester, Crewe, Wolverhampton & Birmingham. |
| Via Hunts Cross | Bus 81A runs to Hunts Cross station. Transfer time 10-15 mins. This is a very small station, with fewer trains, but trains do run to Manchester - Oxford Road (takes ~45 mins), and to Liverpool Lime Street and Southport. Change at Oxford Road for trains to Manchester Airport (Total transfer airport to airport 1 hour 40/£10.20). |
