Tripoli (TIP):
Location: 24 km/15 Miles S of the City.
By Taxi: A
Pre-paid taxi desk is in arivals and fares to most hotels in the city are LYD
20-25/~30 mins.
By Bus: Buses
run from the airport to and from the city centre. Exit the airport and turn left
to find the bus stop with a printed schedule (in Arabic). Buses run every hour
from about 0600-2400, and then every 2 hrs through the night.
Rental Cars:
EUROPCAR
has a desk in arrivals with published opening hours of 0900-1500
daily. Approx cost of cars LYD 35-100 per day.
Car Parking: The car parks
are directly opposite the terminal in easy walking distance.
Airport Tax:
All taxes now included in the ticket price.
Money
Services: Several ATMs/Cash Machines throughout the airport. Bureau de
Change/Currency Exchange in arrivals.
