Carcassonne (CCF): Location: 4 km/2½ Miles W of Carcassone City. By Road: The road signs can be a little vague at first, so when exiting the autoroute follow signs for Mazamet. You will then see signs for the airport, which is called Salvaza. By Taxi: To Carcasonne main town ~€12 & to La Cite ~€15.

| There is a Navette (shuttle) which runs between the Airport & the SNCF railway station in the city, which costs €5 one way. If there are more than 2 people, it's cheaper to take a taxi. | |

| From a traveller in December 2006: It starts from the stop outside the SNCF station and follows a route around the city via Place Davilla, Cathedral (dome), then outside the medieval city's main gate and onto the airport via a very strange and unnecessarily long route, no doubt chosen to make passengers think they're getting value for money for the extortionate €5 fare. There's absolutely nothing airside, not even a shop!!! (although there is one landside - work that one out!) | |
Montpellier - Méditerranée (MPL): Location: 8 km/5
Miles SE of the City.
By Taxi: ~€20/15 mins
to the city centre.
By Bus:
Navette Centre Ville buses run to the Bus Station/Gare Routière
in the city every 30 mins. All regular flights are covered by the shuttle except early morning and late evening.
Cost: Fare is €4.50 each way (€3 each for groups of 4+, students, those under 26, and holders of ISIC carte). Transfer times: 15 mins to Bus Station, 20 to Train station. Buses leave the airport from exit
gate A. At the SNCF train station, where you can

Public Bus 120 runs to and from the airport and terminates at Place de l'Europe.
To get from St Roch SNCF station you must take a line 1or 2 tram to Place de
l'Europe and then follow the "Navette" signpost to access the bus to the
airport. One thing that passengers arriving at Place de l'Europe should bear
in mind is this:
Whilst trams 1 & 2 from St Roch SNCF station travel in the same direction to
get to Place de l'Europe those going to St Roch SNCFstation from the Place
de l'Europe go in opposite directions !!!
The time on the tram whether it is line 1 or 2 is the same.
