Johannesburg - O.R. Tambo Intl (JNB):
Location: 21 km/13 Miles ENE of the City Centre.
Airport Overview: 2 terminals, A & B, connected together and it is easy to walk between the 2. Arrivals are on the ground level, and departures upstairs. There is a common rental car center and bus terminal.
Driving directions: From Johannesburg, take the R24 to the airport. From Pretoria, take the R21. Driving to the airport can be confusing as some sign still refer to the old airport name of Jan Smuts Intl while others call it JHB International. At difficult junctions, such as the Gilloolys Interchange, aircraft symbols are painted on the road to help.

| Caesar's Casino: | A Free shuttle bus runs to the Caesar's Casino and Hotel Complex, a short distance from the airport terminals. Their black minibuses wait at the hotel shuttle point opposite the Intl arrivals level (cross 2 roads to reach them). |
| Hotel Shuttles: | Other hotels run shuttles including Holiday Inn Garden Court. Many local hotels provide free transfers. |

| Gautrain Service to Johannesburg suburbs and Pretoria: | There is a new rail link from Johannesburg O R Tambo airport to various suburbs of Sandton and Pretoria. At some point during 2011, the rest of the network will open. Train stations offer parking and bus connections. The airport station is on the upper level, between terminals A & B. Follow the signs. Routes: The Airport Line runs: O R Tambo Airport - Marlboro - Sandton. At Sandton or Marlboro you can transfer to the North South Commuter Line: Park (not yet open, but will serve Johannesburg city centre) - Rosebank - Sandton - Marlboro - Midrand - Centurion - Pretoria - Hatfield. At Sandton or Marlboro you can transfer to the East West Commuter Line: Sandton - Marlboro - Rhodesfield. Timings: Trains leave the airport Mon-Fri every 12-20 mins 0530-2030. Weekends every 30 mins 0530-2030. Trains leave Sandton Mon-Fri every 12-20 mins 0524-2030. Weekends every 30 mins 0530-2030. Travel Times: To Sandton ~15 mins. Car Parking: Parkade 1 is on the basement level of the terminal. Cost: 0-1 hr ZAR 15, 1-2 hrs ZAR 20, 2-3 hrs ZAR 30, 3-4 hrs ZAR 40, 4-6 hrs ZAR 70, 6-8 hrs ZAR 100, 8-16 hrs ZAR 130 & 16-24 hrs ZAR 140. Thereafter ZAR 70 per 12 hrs. Long term parking shuttles depart from outside the terminals.
Transfer between Terminals: A short walk between the Intl and Domestic terminals.
Baggage Storage: Left luggage facilities available. 0-12 hrs ZAR 18 per piece.
Currency Services: There is a Bureau de Change/Currency Exchange in terminal A arrivals. There are banks, ATMs/Cash machines and a post office on the ground level between terminals A & B.
Notes: There is an information desk in each terminal arrivals area. Some hotels, including Southern Sun, have reservation desks at the airport. There is an Engen petrol/gas station at the airport.
Airport Hotels: Intercontinental Hotel is between the 2 terminals, just across the road.

Location: 11 km/7 Miles ESE of Johannesburg city center, near Germiston.
By Road: The airport is well signed from the N3.
