| Monorail System: | Haneda is connected to the city centre by a monorail to Hamamatsucho station. Connections are possible here to the Yamanote Line to the city centre. It runs daily day every 5-10 mins 0530-2300. Transfer time ~20 mins. Cost: JPY 500. |
| Keihin Kyuko Railway: | The Keihin Kyuko Railway runs to Shingawa Station & Yokohama station. Some trains connect with the Keisei & Oshiage Lines. Transfer Times: to Shingawa ~20 mins & Yokohama 25-30 mins. Cost: To Shinagawa JPY 400 & Yokohama JPY 470. |
Tokyo 東京 - Narita 成田 - New Tokyo Intl (NRT): Location: 65 km/41 Miles E of Tokyo City Centre. Airport Overview: 2 Terminals linked by a free shuttle bus which takes 5-10 mins. Airline Locations: Term 1: BA, VS, CX, SQ. Term 2: QF. Driving directions: The airport has road links to the Higashi-Kanto Expressway and Route 295, and to nearby cities including Tokyo, Narita, Shibayama and Tako. Pax are advised to check the terminal they will be using before setting out to the airport since the terminals are 1½km/1 mile apart. There are security checks at the road entrance to the airport. By Taxi: Taxis and chauffeur-driven limousines are available, but can take a long time to reach the city centre due to traffic. Reported cost ~JPY 20-25 000/60-90 mins. | Passengers should check which terminal they require before setting out to the airport. The terminals have separate railway stations. | |
| Keisei Tokkyu Train: | Runs a fast service from the basement level of both terminals to Nippori & Ueno in the city. Onward connections are available from both these stops. Runs every 30 mins and takes ~65 mins to the city. Cost JPY 1000. |
| Skyliner Train: | Runs a fast service from the basement level of both terminals to Ueno in the city, for which a reservation and supplementary ticket is necessary. Journey time to central Tokyo is ~60 mins. Cost: ~JPY 2000. |
| JR Narita Express Train: | Runs a fast service from the basement level of both terminals to several stations in the city. Onward connections are then available. Runs every 30 mins and takes ~60 mins to the city. Cost JPY 3000. There are also trains that run every hour or so to Shinjuku for ~JPY 3200. Takes 80-90 mins. Services also run to Yokohama (JPY 4200). |
