Galway - Connemara Regional (NNR):
Location:
Near Inverin, about 30km/18 Miles W of Galway.
By Road: The drive to
Connemara Airport from Galway city takes at least 30 mins, but often nearer 50
mins as this road is very busy with tourist traffic, especially in summer.
Follow signs for the R336. The airport is not signed until you are very close to
it.By Taxi: Call (091) 57 2227 or ask at reception.
By Bus: A shuttle bus runs to Connemara
Airport from Galway city centre, leaving from Kinlay House Hostel on the
corner of Merchant's Road & Victoria Place (near the docks). Buses are
planned to leave the airport at about 0930, 1100, 1630 & 1700 as these coincide
with flight arrivals. Buses are planned to leave the city about 0800, 0900,
1030, 1500 & 1600 to connect with flight departures. However, these times are
subject to change. You must reserve your seat on the minibus when reserving your flight,
or at least call to check the bus is running. Call (091) 593 034.

Free parking right outside the terminal.
Note:
This airport is used only for
Aer Arann flights to the Aran Islands. All other flights use Galway Carnmore
Airport, including Aer Arann flights to Luton.
