Altenburg - Nobitz (AOC):
Location: 5 km/3 Miles E of Altenburg, 28 km/17 Miles ESE of Zeitz, 29 km/18 Miles N of Zwickau,
34 km/21 Miles NW of Chemnitz & 41 km/26 Miles S of Leipzig.
By Taxi: Available.
By Bus: A shuttle bus runs once a day in each direction to Leipzig main station. It leaves the airport at 1240, calls at Altenburg Bus station (stop 5) at 1255,
at Borna station at 1320 and Leipzig main station Eastside at 1355. In the other direction, departure times are Leipzig (1005), Borna (1045), Altenburg (1110)
& arrives at the airport at 1125. Cost: to Altenburg €3.50 (Children €2.10), Born €7 (€4.20) & Leipzig €12 (€7.20).
These trips are designed to co-ordinate with the arrival of Ryanair flights, and buses wait if the plane is delayed. For info call +49 3447 85 06 13.

Erfurt (ERF):
Locaton: 5 km/3 Miles W of the city.
By Bus: Bus #99 runs to the bus station (platform 4) in Erfurt city. Cost: Adults €1.40, €0.90 children. Takes 15 mins.
Leaves the airport: Mon-Fri: 0830, 0915, 1405, 1605 & 1705.
Leaves the bus station: Mon-Fri: 0630, 0800, 0855, 1345, 1545 & 1645. Weekends: 1545 & 1645.
By Tram: Line 4 runs from a
stop right outside the airport terminal and goes to the Main station in the city
centre via Anger. Route: Bindersleben - Büropark Airfurt - Flughafen/Airport
- Orionstrasse - Volkenroder Weg - Am Kreuzchen - Hauptfriedhof - Berufsschulen
- Nibelungenweg - Gamstädter Weg - Bundesarbeitsgericht - Justiz-zentrum -
Gothaerplatz - Finanzcentrum - Theater - Domplatz - Fischmarkt/Rathaus - Anger -
Hauptbahnhof/Main train station. Timings: Trams leave the airport Mon-Fri every 10-30 mins
0455-2256. Saturdays & Sundays every ~30 mins 0656-2256. Takes ~20 mins to
reach the city. Cost: Adult single €2.30, child (6-14) €1.40. Day ticket €5.
