5 km/3 Miles NW of Hana on the Eastern side of Maui.
By Bus: Several local
hotels & resorts provide shuttles for guests including: Hana-Maui Hotel.

Maui (OGG):
Location:
5 km/3 Miles ENE of Kahului Town.
Airport
Overview: One long terminal for most airlines,
with bagge claim at the far (Eastern) end. There is a small Commuter Terminal
beyond baggage claim (easily walkable) for the following Airlines: Mokulele
Airlines, Maui Air, Volcano Air Tours, Air Links, Paragon Air & Pacific Wings.
By Road:
At
least 1 hour to hotels
in Kapalua/Kaanapali Beach but only 20-30 mins to Kihei.

each rental car company runs shuttles at regular intervals for
passengers to get to the airport to rent cars. |

Trawler Car Hire. |
Car Parking: Right opposite the main terminal. 30 mins free, 1 hour $2, each
extra hour $1, daily max $7. Lost ticket $7. This car park frequently fills up
and is then closed to further cars. The overflow car park is some distance away
and is not suitable as a short stay car park. There is no parkingt at the
commuter terminal.
Notes: ◊There
is no ATM/Cash machine landside at this airport, but there is one upstairs after
security.
◊There
is a $2 charge for luggage trolleys/carts. $0.25 is refunded on return. ◊Kahului is the only airport on Maui that has direct service from the
mainland USA.

Kapalua - West Maui Airport (JHM):
Location:
On the NW coast of Maui, between Honokowai and
Puukolii.

Overview:
A very basic terminal with a small car park outside.
By Taxi:
Taxis meet all flights, but are reported to be expensive. AB Taxi (808) 667 7575
or 1 888 667 7579.
By
Shuttle Van:
Executive Shuttle
run shuttles from the airport to local hotels for ~$7-14 depending on
distance. Kaanapali costs $10. All other resorts and hotels served. Tel (808)
669 2300 or dial 55 on the airport courtesy phone in baggage claim.
