Location:
3 km/2 Miles SW of Farnborough, 15 km/10 Miles WNW of Guildford & 52 km/32 Miles
SW of Central London.
By Road: To central
London ~50 mins+, Southampton & Reading ~30 mins , Guildford 20 mins & Oxford 55
mins. To Heathrow or Gatwick Airports 30-45 mins.
By Taxi:
To central london £80-90.
By Bus: During
the Farnborough International Airshow, Farnborough Main, North Camp & Aldershot
train stations will be served by a shuttle bus running directly to the airport.
By Train:
No rail service serves the airport directly, however there are train stations
nearby at Farnborough Main (direct trains to London Waterloo in about 40 mins),
Farnborough North Camp & Aldershot. Disabled access is possible at North Camp
station.
Notes: No airline traffic is
allowed to use this airport, which is primarily for business aviation. The
Farnborough International Airshow is held every 2 years, and this year is 14-20
July 2008.
