Location: 26 km/16 Miles NNE of Johannesburg, 27 km/17 miles SSW of Pretoria.
By Taxi: Rendezvous Transport (011) 452-3160. Taxis are not stationed at the airport, so a call in advance is essential.
Rental Cars: AVIS +27 (011) 315 1641, Budget 315 5947 & Imperial 315 2132 all have desks in the small terminbal building.
Car Parking: Spaces are available right outside the terminal building. Open Parking: 15 mins free, 2 hrs ZAR 4, 3 hrs ZAR 5, 4 hrs ZAR 6, 5 hrs ZAR 8, 6 hrs ZAR 11, 12 hrs ZAR 15 & 24 hrs ZAR 23. Covered Parking: 1 hour ZAR 3.50, 2 hrs ZAR 4.50, 3 hrs ZAR 5.50, 4 hrs ZAR 8, 5 hrs ZAR 11, 6 hrs ZAR 14, 12 hrs ZAR 17 & 24 hrs ZAR 25. Lost tickets ZAR 40.

Lanseria Intl (HLA):
Location: 30 km/19 Miles NNW of Johannesburg, 35 km/22 miles SW of Pretoria.
Airport Overview: A small, but modern terminal with a car rental building right outside and a car park across the road.
By Road: The airport can be accessed from the N14 by taking the R512 exit (signed to Lanseria & Brits). The airport is well signed along this road.
By Taxi: Taxis do not seem to wait at this airport, but can be contacted as follows: Executive Airport Transfer Tel 082 447 8556.
Rental Cars: AVIS +27 (011) 659 1415, Budget 790 0040 & Imperial 659 2999. The car rental building is just outside the terminal on the right as you exit. Weblinks: □Car Trawler Car Hire.

Pretoria - Wonderboom National Airport (PRY):
Location: 11 km/7 miles N of Pretoria city centre and 64 km/40 miles NNE of Johannesburg.
By Road: The airport can be accessed from the N1 by following the Wonderboom signs. The airport is well signed along the route from the N1.
By Taxi: To the city centre ~ZAR 200. No taxis wait at the terminal, so you must arrange inside for one to be called.
By Bus: On a visit in February 2006 I was told that no buses serve the airport, although I did see a StarLine Bus #162 pass the airport.
Rental Cars: AVIS +27 (082) 412 7704 has a desk in the terminal.
Car Parking: Spaces are available right outside the terminal building. 30 mins free, 1 hour ZAR 3, 2 hrs ZAR 4, 4 hrs ZAR 5, 5 hrs ZAR 7, 8 hrs ZAR 8, 12 hrs ZAR 10, 14 hrs ZAR 17 & 24 hrs ZAR 32. A flat rate of ZAR 5 applies between 1900 and 0600. Lost tickets ZAR 32. However, on a visit in Feb 06, the car park was unattended and I parked for free.
Airport Hotels: International Inn Wonderboom Airport (543 1736) is situated near the airport and bookings can be made at the restaurant in the airport terminal.
