Xiamen [厦 门 - Gaoqi 高崎 (XMN): Location: 14 km/11 Miles NE of the Waterfront District, 8km/5 Miles from the Eastern District. By Taxi: To the city center ~CNY 50/30-40 mins. There is a taxi rank outside the Arrival Hall. The taxi fare basis is CNY 8 at flag fall for the first 3 km, and CNY 2 per km thereafter. Fares are subject to a 50% surcharge when the journey exceeds 8 km. Long distance taxis to outlying districts of Xiamen and to Quanzhou, Shishi and other nearby cities are available at the West Ground-level Car Park: Turn right after exiting the Arrival Hall and carry straight on for 100-200 metres.
