Airport Overview: One large, modern terminal with arrivals & Ground Transportation on the lower level, and departures on the upper level.
By Road: To Fort Myers ~30-40 mins. To Sanibel island 45-65 mins and a $6 toll to cross the bridge to the island.

| Lee Tran Bus #50 to Summerlin Square: | Lee Tran provides buses every hour or so to a transfer point at Daniels Parkway and US 41 (near Bell Tower Shops) Connections can be made from there to the remainder of the Lee Tran routes. | Short Term Parking: | In the parking garage directly across from the terminal. Cost: First 20 mins free, next 20 mins $2, each extra 20 mins $1, daily maximum $15. |
| Long Term Parking: | The long term surface lot is a little further away. Free Shuttles depart from the lower level, in the median between the 2 roadways outside. Cost: $2 per hour, daily maximum $11, 1 week $62. |
| Cell Phone Parking: | Cell phone parking lots, located within 5 minutes of major airport terminals, are intended to reduce airport congestion. Motorists coming to the airport for arriving passengers can go to one of the cell phone parking lots. Once the arriving party reaches the terminal sidewalk with luggage in hand, he or she makes a call. The waiting motorist can be curbside within minutes to quickly pick up the traveler and be on their way. At Fort Myers Airport, the Cell Phone Lot is on the Terminal Access Rd. |
Money Services: ATMs/Cash machines are on the upper level.
Notes: Luggage carts are available for rent at $3. There is a Transportation Information Desk outside on the ground level, but it was closed on my last visit. Free WiFi internet in the terminal.
