Key West Intl (EYW):  Location5 km/3 Miles SE of the Town Centre.  Airport Overview: The present terminal is very basic, with separate departures and arrivals sides. Once you go through security there is nowhere to get food, drinks or toilets. A new terminal is under construction.

Taxis wait outside the terminal building
Costs: The Key West area is divided into Zones for the purposes of taxi fares. Zone 1: Everything west of White St (this includes most of the city centre including Duval st): $7.50 per person. Zone 2: Everything between White St and Kennedy Drive: $6.50 per person. Zone 3: East of Kennedy Drive and west of Cow Key Channel: $5.50 per person. Zone 4: Stock Island & Key Haven: $6.50 per person. A taxi to anywhere in Key West takes 5-15 mins.

By Bus:
Bus Stop: The bus stop is outside departures. Exit from arivals or departures and turn left. Walk to the end of the building.
Local Buses: Local Buses operated by Key West Transit stop at the bus stop just outside departures (out and turn left). 3 different routes serve the airport, red, blue and green. All buses run to the city center and operate 0600-2230. See route map and schedules.
Greyhound Buses to Miami & Key West: Route: Downtown Miami (1012 NW 1st Ave) - Miami West (4111 NW 27th St) - Miami Airport (Ground Transportation center, lower level concourse E) - Cutler Ridge - Key Largo - Islamorada - Marathon Airport - Big Pine Key - Key West Airport.
Timings & Cost: Buses leave Key West airport heading for Miami twice a day at 0855 & 0545. Takes 4 hr 40 mins to get to Miami. Cost $33.50 adult one way. Buses leave downtown Miami twice per day at 0620 and 1215.

By Shuttle Van: Keys Shuttle Tel 1 888 765 9997 or +1 (305) 289 9997 runs shuttles from the keys to Miami Intl & Fort Lauderdale Airports. Route: Key West (downtown) - Big Pine - Marathon - Tavernier - Key Largo - Miami Intl Airport - Fort Lauderdale Airport. Timings: Shuttles leave Key West daily at 0245, 0545, 0745, 0945, 1145 & 1345. To MIA Airport 3 hrs 45/$80 1 adult one way, $144 for 2 adults etc, to FLL airport $90 1 adult one way, $128 for 2 adults etc/4 hrs 15.
Rental Cars:
On-Airport Rental Car Providers: AVIS, Budget, Dollar, HERTZ & Thrifty all have desks in the arrivals side.

Car Parking: Parking is outside the terminal: 0-30 mins $1, 1 hour $2, each extra 30 mins $1. Daily maximum $8. Marathon - The Florida Keys (MTH):  Location: Right in the heart of Marathon town, 32 km/20 Miles E of Big Pine Key, 79 km/49 Miles E of Key West & 63 km/39 Miles WSW of Tavernier.  Airport Overview: A very basic terminal with parking outside.  By Taxi: Marathon Taxi Co (305) 289 5454, On Time Taxi (305) 289 5656 & Friendly Cab (305) 289 5454.


By Bus:
Greyhound Buses to Miami & Key West: Route: Downtown Miami (1012 NW 1st Ave) - Miami West (4111 NW 27th St) - Miami Airport (Ground Transportation center, lower level concourse E) - Cutler Ridge - Key Largo - Islamorada - Marathon Airport - Big Pine Key - Key West Airport.
Timings & Cost: Buses leave Marathon heading for Miami & Key Largo 2 times daily at 1000 & 1850. Takes 3 hrs 35 mins to get to Miami. Buses leave downtown Miami twice per day at 0620 and 1215. Cost $31 adult one way. Buses leave Marathon heading for Key West 2 times daily at 1000 & 1545. Buses leave Key West airport twice a day at 0855 & 0545. Takes 1 hr 20 mins. Cost $16 adult one way.
