Levuka - Bureta
(LEV):
Location: 18 km/11 Miles SW of Levuka town,
3 km/2 Miles WNW of Nacobo, on the
SW part of the island of Ovalau.
By Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport, or can be called.
To Levuka town FJD$ 20-25/40 mins. By Bus:
Minibuses meet all flights and run into Levuka town (Air Fiji office) for ~FJD$ 4.
Buses usually leave town ~90 mins before flight departures.

Matei - Taveuni
(TVU):
Location: At the NE tip of Taveuni Island 16 km/10
Miles NE of Waiyevo & 35 km/22 Miles NE of Vuna.
By Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport, or can be called.
To Waiyevo ~FJD$ 15-20 & to Vuna $30-35.
By Bus: Local buses do pass close to the
airport, but the timetable is not reliable.

Nadi Intl (NAN):
Location: 8 km/5 Miles NE of
Nandi/Nadi Town & 116 km/73 Miles WNW of Suva.
Airport Overview: 2 terminals, domestic & Intl, connected together. By
Road: To Suva 197 km/123 Miles/3 hrs+. To the Coral Coast ~60-120
mins, Sigatoka 70 km/44 Miles/1 hour, Lautoka 24 km/15 Miles.
By Taxi: To Nadi town FJD$ 7-10 /10-15 mins. To Suva FJD$
120/3-3½ hours.

|
Most buses wait in the coach park which is
at the end of Intl arrivals. Exit the arrivals area and walk straight
ahead past the car rental offices. |
| Local Bus |
Local
shuttle bus runs ~every 5 mins 0700-1830 from outside the terminal to town very cheaply
(FJD$0.50). Takes 20 mins. Tourist
information and other airport officials may deny its existence and head you
towards taxis. Indeed on my visit in May 2006 I was unable to find it either!! |

Most hotels provide
free transport service to/from the airport. For example the Mango Bay
Resort (Coral Coast) charges FJD$36 per person each way. |

Express to Suva and Queens Road resorts: |
Fiji Express is the only air-conditioned express bus operating
between Suva and Nadi Airport. Route: Nadi Airport Intl Arrivals Bus park
- Nadi Airport Hotels - Fijian Resort - Sigatoka - Outrigger Resort -
Tabua Sands - Hideaway - Naviti Resort - Warwick Resort - Beach House -
Pacific Harbour - Suva (Raffles Tradewinds) - Suva (Holiday Inn).
Timings: Buses leave Nadi Airport daily at 0730 & 1300. Buses depart
Suva Holiday Inn daily at 0730 & 1600. Travel Time: To Suva ~4
hrs, Fijian Resort 90 mins, Warwick 2 hrs 30, Pacific Harbour 3 hrs 20.
Cost: From Nadi Airport to Nadi Hotels FJD$6, Fijian Resort FJD
11, Outrigger FJD 12, Hideaway FJD 13, Naviti FJD 14, Warwick FJD 14,
Pacific Harbour FJD 16 & Suva FJD 19. Contact: Tel 672 3105 (24

Sunset
Express |
Sunset Express has AC buses running twice a day between Lautoka and Suva, with stops at Nadi Airport and Sigatoka. These usually leave
Nadi Airport daily at 0945 and 1545, with arrival in Suva at 1315 & 915. The return trips depart Suva at 0845
& 1600, getting back to Nadi Airport at
1230 and 1950. The Nadi-Suva fare is FJD$12. Sunset
Express has an office on the 2nd floor of the Nadi Airport arrivals
concourse.

Pacific
Transport Ltd |
Pacific Transport has
several express and local buses between Lautoka and Suva Mon-Sat via the
Queen's Road. They all stop at the domestic terminal at Nadi Airport and
the markets at Nadi Town, Sigatoka, and Navua. The Fiji Visitors Bureau
usually has schedules at its offices. The express buses take ~4 hrs
between Nadi and Suva, compared to 5 hrs on the local stages.

| Coral
Sun Fiji Bus: |
Runs
buses from Nadi Airport to the Holiday Inn in Suva. Buses leave Suva
daily at 0730 & 1600. Buses take 3 hours to get to Nadi and will stop at
hotels along the way to pick up passengers if pre-arranged. Cost: FJD$
25 (morning bus) or $19 (afternoon bus). |

The left luggage store is at the left hand side of Domestic Arrivals. Suitcases

age.

Location: 3 km/2 Miles S of Savusavu, near
the Namale Resort & Spa, on the island of Vanua Levu.
By Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport, or can be called.

Suva - Nausori (SUV): Location: 23 km/14 Miles NE
of Suva city & 4 km/2 Miles SE of Nausori town. By
Road: From Suva City follow signs for Nausori. After crossing the
bridge over the river just before Nausori, you will see a sign directing you to
the airport. By Taxi: To Suva
city centre: FJD$ 20/30-40
mins. You can save money by taking a taxi
from the airport only as far as Nausori Police Station (4 km/2 Miles. FJD$ 4-5), then a local bus to Suva from there (a
further 19 km/12 Miles), with services every 10 mins
until 2100 for FJD$1.35). When going to the airport, catch a local bus from Suva to Nausori, then a taxi to the airport.

There is
now a dedicated airport bus, that runs to the Holiday Inn Hotel in
central Suva. The bus leaves from outside the terminal building, and a
board shows departure times. Buses from the city leave from the car park
of the Holiday Inn. Come out of the front door of the hotel and turn
left. In the corner of the car park you will see a small hut that says
TAXI on it. The buses leave from outside that hut. |

for ~FJD$ 1.35. If your arrival time does not coincide with the buses
above, take a taxi to Nausori (FJD$ 4-5) then a bus to Suva city. |

all have desks in the small terminal. However the desks are usually only staffed
when a booking has been made. Do not expect to be able to arrive at the airport
and make a booking on the spot. Sharmas

Notes: ◊Overnight sleeping is not allowed at this airport.
◊The ANZ Bank branch at the airport opens for most
international flights. They charge F$5 commission. There is NO ATM/Cash machine
at the airport - the nearest one is in Suva. Airport

Vunisea/Namalata - Kadavu
(KDV):
Location: Towards the middle of Kadavu Island,
3 km/2
Miles SW of Vunisea. By Bus: Some
hotels and resorts such as the Dive Kadavu Resort have shuttles for guests.
Note: This airport is pronounced, and
sometimes spelt Kandavu.
