Vágar (FAE):
Location: Near Sřrvágur, 27 km/17 Miles W of Tórshavn, the Capital, but on a separate island.
By Helicopter: Helicopter transfers are
operated by Atlantic Airways from
the airport to the heliport at Torshavn for DKR 215 one way. Takes 10-15 mins,
sometimes with an intermediate stop. Other islands are also served, including Gásadal, Mykines, Koltur, Klaksvík, Skúvoy, Frođba, Dímun, Kirkja & Hattarvík.

The Airport Shuttle Service runs a minibus from Hotel Torshavn and Hotel Hafnia (both in
Torshavn) to the airport at 0630 & 1300 every day, and returns later on. Seats can be reserved on line, at the reception desks of the hotels or by calling
